Hot tub diagnostic series. What does it mean when the red light is flashing and what do I do?

Exactly the problem! However, every time I add chemicals I add thru the filter system and either the heater shuts off or I get the flashing light! I am going to start adding to the water thanks again

I tried your solution but it didn't work. My tub runs for about a minute and shuts off and power light flashes. It does NOT trip the circuit breaker. Any ideas?

doesn't running a hot tub without the filter cause damage to the internal components especially if your running it for days at a time without a filter? Might be cheaper to get a new filter then to replace a pump or heater.
