The spray foam is the best ( IMO ) I paid extra for house I built in 2009 for the open cell foam. Porous enough to show general area of leak, good enough insulation to slow down heat loss. The closed cell is more money, better insulator but is totally waterproof. Might think that is good, but not when trying to fine a leak. For the open foam pro kits are cheaper by half?? than the 1$/Bd ft kit- when purchased in the professional 55 Gallon kits- only for pros with a 10,000$ spray gun

Really informative video Issue is a lot of customers are dumb most of the time and will just go for the cheapest option tub and it won’t have suitable insulation
