i have no voltage going to the heating element when the spa is calling for heat. resistance and continuity seem fine on the heating element itself. leaning toward a bad relay/, circuit board. would you agree

If there's no error message and everything seems to be flowing fine, then it does sound like a relay problem. Test all fuses and volts coming into spa pack.

Great video! Does the heater manifold need to be disconnected from the circulation pump to do these tests, or can I do them with the spa running?

I have checked my element and have 240v, ohm reading is 14.2 for 5.5kw seems to be out of range. I have continuity between post. Any idea what may be going on?

Thanks for the videos. I replaced my heating element, filled up my tub, but still no heat. Voltage coming into the board is good and all fuses are good, but volts at the element leads are zero, amps zero, ohms zero. Continuity is good. Was I sold a bad heating element or is there something else that is the problem?

Hello, after changing my heater element and both sensors on my Balboa spa, I still can’t keep my he heater on for more than 90 seconds (est). I hear a click sound sometimes sound which appears the heater has turned off even though it is still showing as being on up top on the panel. If you have any ideas I would be appreciative…

I have a Jandy heat pump EE1500, in the pass it would give me a high pressure error code, and fan wouldn't spin, i would change the condenser for the motor and it would work for about a year, last year it give the same code but this time after changing the condenser it keep showing the same error I have no idea what is going on i change every connection and eerything has power but the heat pump still won't run, any idea what is going on, and A/c tech friend of mine tested the freon lines and said everything is within normal operations he didn't know what was wrong with it either, any help would be appreciated

unfortunately, I don't deal with heat pumps. I always get a heating/cooling guy out to look at them.

Spa isn’t heating checked the fuses they are good, checked the voltage it’s good coming in when I go to the element continuity is good on it it reads about 14 ohms, but when I voltage test it’s 0. Does this mean replace the element?

Test the amps on the heater element? Is the circ pump / Pump 1 working fine? Any error codes showing?

1 pump and it’s fine, no error codes. Amps are zero, but not super confident that I got a good reading.
