What amount of time would You advise for pasteurising woodshavings and sawdust?

Both sawdust and shavings have low nutritional value. Therefore, they are used only as a base with the addition of nutritional supplements and only when sterilizing the substrate. Perhaps, if you make a small amount of substrate, they can be pasteurized. But if the sawdust is too small, it absorbs too much water and the mycelium cannot breathe there. You can slightly dry the sawdust in the oven after pasteurization if you make 2-3 tiny blocks. This is not suitable for large volumes. Shavings, on the contrary, absorb little water. Therefore, I cannot give recommendations on pasteurization time. No less than 3 hours, and no more than 8 and a temperature of 68-72 - this is the range for any type of raw material. You will have to set the time empirically in this range. Since even different types of shavings will absorb water differently
