When I was a little kid I had a diecast of the coyote from the Hardcastle & McCormick TV show. When I would play cars. I would pretend the model featured in this video was Judge Hardcastle's truck.😁 I was so happy when I realize that you were keeping the original eagle decals 😊 Shout out to Kenny Terry.

Awesome! Those rims made all the difference. The Bywayman has been a fav since my childhood, I still have my mint blue 79 edition. I have restoring a few of them but painting them white and using the Toys R Us decals from SCredlines. Pics are in my youtube community page.

Great job!!! I love the square body trucks!!! I still have an original one of these from my childhood, and luckily it’s in mint condition. I also have the gold 63 Highjacker Vette, the blue cobra, maroon Baja Bug, and a few others with “Real Rider” rubber tires.

Nice. Wish you could use the old wheels. To me those wheels made it. Now don't get me wrong the new wheels look fabulous. I grew up in that era when the hurricane wheels was the bomb. Great tips for a beginner like me. You are great for helping people. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Beautiful work. I've been putting the brass tube in the dremel and touching up the ends with 220 or 440 grit. That end contacts the wheel hub so could be a friction point.

Paul you did an amazing job on the Byway Man. I have one of the black versions that I need to find a new roll bar for or possibly build a custom one. It's got the crapy plastic wheels so I may do a full custom. But seeing how yours turned out gives me inspiration and insight into building mine.

Then go for it. Ebay or antique shops. Or get a junker and restore it. It becomes very addictive. But nothing wrong with reliving your childhood.

supernice, indeed. :D shiny paint, those decals look great, the wheels fit.. now I wonder what tyres would fit on the original wheel rims.I can see them on a corvette or charger. :) come to think of it, I have a 49 ford sedan with those wheels, and they do appear to be needing a wheel bearing adjustment... unlike a Thunderbidy turbo coupe where they are seized shut through corrosion. :P i hope I can make them turn again eventually.

Nice job and great production on the video! Glad I found your channel. I picked up a couple new tips and I like you Amazon store. Makes it easy to find everything. I checked out Kenny Terry's web site, but it looked like all decals were for models and not 1/64 dicast. Where do you look or do you have to request specific graphics?

Hi Paul, another outstanding job on the Bywayman truck. Better than new now! That's a pristine paint job. Do you have a moment to answer a quick question for me? What size needle and nozzle do you use in your airbrush? My paint inventory is mostly Vallejo acrylic and some Tamiya clear. Thanks, brother. Be cool! From Switzerland - Andrew 👊
