I would suggest adding more dirt and grime on the front grill. It's such a large surface that dust and dirt couldn't NOT avoid collecting there. BTW, I counted 3 times while watching the video where I forgot the car was not metal. That Molotow is really amazing stuff!!

I'm not so sure your concerns about the gun being out of scale are really all that grounded. Before you dismiss me as crazy, hear me out. First according to the height of a Minion (which is 3.5 feet on average) Gru is 4 minions tall, which means he is a godly size of 14 feet tall. Furthermore if any of you remember the original Despicable Me, you know there is a scene when Vector kidnaps the three girls and shoots a series of heat-seeking misses at Gru, he then dodges them all. According to the speed of an average ballistic missile (1900 mph) and the size of the missile according to his ankle size, Gru can perceive and move at such a speed that the missiles only move 9.5 miles per hour, 0.5% of their original speed. After this Gru punches a shark and it is paralyzed meaning its spine is probably shattered, to remind you it would require a force greater than 3,000 newtons to fracture the spine. That’s equal to the impact created by a 500-pound car crashing into a wall at 30 miles per hour. I rest my case.

I love the body and the wheels but while a really like the shape of the gun that paintjob on it does it a disservice. The sense of scale is ruined by the large blotchy black patches that look more like ink that pooled than an actual paint effect. I'd probably recommend repainting it in a darker gunmetal colour and nuln oil wash then dry brush with a lighter silver. For a grimy gun look i'd say using Agrax earthshade and have you tried the the Citadel Typhus Corrosion Technical paint? It feels so weird to work with but is amazing for rust and caked on mud!

I would love to see the canopy cut off and have the interior from a big Caddy convertible or maybe just pull the floor pan from something completely ordinary like a VW Golf or a Mercedes sedan and then have it be both open top but also still way out of proportion. I think either an extra gas can on the sides or maybe since it's got a jet engine you could make some scale oxygen/nitrous canisters and mount them along the sides of the cabin/canopy. Some fog lamps on the front could be interesting as well. A little scale barbed wire on that grill would go a long way too. Maybe with a little cowcatcher from a train for a front bumper? However, if you keep the front and top the way it is it's just BEGGING for a little WW2-style shark face on the front just above the Gru logo. The thing is basically a ground plane anyway. Love what you're doing and you've really got my imagination going with this one. Can't wait to see the final product.

A few conveniently bent coffee stirrers by the side, a couple of rips here and there and you can have a set of custom exhaust cutoffs that may look cool on the side or back of the mobile! The paint you used on the side gun is awesome. I've never seen anything like it. Two points: 1. The tires could use a little more brown and less silver imo. 2. You put some sort of paint on the front guns where you said they'll look like they have grease on them, but I didn't notice much difference in the final shot. Either way, I love the Mad Max themed cars and this one is no exception. Great work.

Amazing build! As for ideas, maybe some semi-truck half fenders over the rear wheels that could have chains dangling from the end(like Rictus' monster truck). It could then have a rear gunner on one fender since a vehicle of this size would have terrible handling and be a pain to get that main gun in place. Or maybe a detachable bike hanging off the side to have as a support vehicle. Heck, with a grill that size, you could have a guy chained on the front like Lord Humongus's speaker truck in Mad Max 2, but that might be a pain in the neck to make. Just some ideas to help improve this amazing build.

Lol this gave me giggles! How about a volcan cannon like the charger a bit shorter located just under the cab above the grill.. And some sort of harpoon opiset the main gun ( other side) also go down the rivet lines with rust.. ( old rail boxcars have a similar constriction) and the rust where water sits on the top of the rivet..the longer rust sits the darker it is

Would love to see the canopy be replaced with an open-air chariot-like podium. Would give him the same gravitas as someone like Immortan Joe. Another option to get rid of the plastic fuzzies after drilling. Try using thin plastic cement, like Tamiyas Thin or Extra thin. Simply brush it on the affected area and let dry. It will actually melt those fuzzies. I like it because while the lighter method is effective, it can easily get away from you and melt the piece.
