Majorette is the winner here, by a long mile. Opening door, working suspension, plastics insert headlights, very detailed sideview mirrors, red metalic paint job. This diecast model is perfection! I don't recall having paint quality issue with my Majorettes in my collection. we just can hope your amg gt was an isolate case.

Honestly, I think that Hot Wheels' casting is really disappointing. I was excited to get my hands on one, but when I did, I was disgusted by the proportioning. The front end after the wheels looks like it's stretched out on the side, and the back end feels too short after the wheels and the entire car feels *too* rounded out. I say that Majorette definitely takes the win on this one.

I would say the majorette version is better. For almost twice the price of a mainline, u get better details, opening doors and suspension, better looking paint and a much nicer scale compared to the hotwheels.

You actually can't see clear inside the window in hot wheels means you can't see the interior while on majerrote you can so+points on majerrote

I have both the yellow ones. I like the yellow ones, if you look closely the yellow on the back of the hotwheels gets a bit brighter and more orange

I just bought a hotwheels AMG GT, and I am extremely disappointed. Mattel has shitty quality control, coz there is a visible scratch on the door, idk why but from personal experiences hotwheels always seem to have a problem with their yellow colored cars.. because of this Im convinced to get the majorette amg gt as a compensation. Majorette(premium) here is 2x the price of a hotwheels in Malaysia, but when it comes to quality control the 2x price is somehow still worth it

Dont get me wrong, hotwheels sometimes do a remarkable job with their castings for instance the 180sx, corvette c7 z06 and a few more to mention. Its just the quality control is a bit shabby, which will result in poor paintwork and tampo errors so finding crappy models such as the amg gt i got today can be quite unfotunate P.S. can you make a peghunting tip video part 2? :) cheers

Here's the thing. Majorette, while they have some true gems, are often quite chinsy, which makes me very anxious when considering buying from them. I got burned once on a Mustang GT that felt more like it cost 50 cents than 2$. However I made the coscious choice to completely boycott HotWheels from 2018 forward because of their subpar quality control when compared to their main competitor Matchbox. The two brands cost the same but Matchbox blows HW out of the water.

Majorette amg gt is surely better as it looks more like a real one on the other hand HotWheels one looks quite mild and those headlights look ugly on the HotWheels they should've used the plastic headlights like majorette did,expecting better casting by hotwheels on amg gt3 in 2018.but for this comparison surely majorette takes the cake.

Majerotte wins it's clear what so ever majerotte chorme paint , plastic headline, opening doors suspension ,you can also see the interior ,and the size and shape of the majerotte is very accurate hot wheels is only a waste of money

For me it's a tie. They both look good and look like the actual car. There are no major flaws and you get what you pay for in both cases. In the end it's a matter of preferences and what type of replica you want in your collection. If the Majorette version was actually 1:64, i would have given it a win though.

The front is bit long on majorette , but the hot wheels is realistic , not judging of the detailing , judging of the body structure but the gran turismo hotwheels is the most perfect detailed cars , of the gran tursimo , I like the c7r and the 2020 nissan gtr vision , so realistic detailing and body structure

first time a have majorette dodge hellcat, and i dont like the suspension. it create a high stance to the car an it makes the cool looking hellcat less sporty. first time i unpack it, i unrivet it and ditch the suspension, also lowering the stance 😂
