You two (especially Jason) seemed to be having so much fun with this episode. I enjoyed hearing you both "nerd out" over props. The interview with Tommy was also really fun.

HBO, please don’t continue the concept of women not wanting war and the men in their lives pushing for war. Give us the Rhaenyra and Alicent from the books PLEASE! You’re trying to make some type of feminist political statement at the risk of ruining these characters and making scenes a lot less entertaining in the process. A Rhaenyra doing Cersei-like things and being a little vengeful in season 2 would’ve been A LOT more interesting than the Rhaenyra we got who just wants to do the right thing but is willing to sacrifice others for it (like the Targaryen bastards for instance). Rhaenyra lost her son, lost her baby, lost her father, lost Rhaenys, lost her two most loyal swords and came an inch within being slain FFS! If those things didn’t push her to vengeance or make her a little ruthless then I’m not sure what will. I still like the show but I’m begging you, allow characters to react to the trauma happening around them and have more agency. A character can be extremely flawed & vengeful and still likable. I feel like you guys thought we wouldn’t like Rhaenyra anymore if she wanted blood in season 2 when it’s actually what we all expected and were pumped for but didn’t get. Season 2 was still good (not much of a finale though) but it could’ve been GREAT if Rhaenyra was a lot more active as a character. With that said, I still have faith in the show and will be excited to tune in for season 3…. which feels like that’s 1827182761 years from now! Jesus Chr*st. END ME ALREADY. 😩 You can’t give us 8 episodes, an uneventful finale and then make us wait two damn years. Why are studios doing this lately? It’s like they’re trying to find the best and quickest way to displease fans. No fan wants that. Get your sh*t together please.

THANK YOU. 😭 I’m ready to see Rhaenyra lose her mind. I can’t wait to see the actor demonstrate more range and ferocity. I know they have tons of talent. We also need more Aegon scenes. The writers need to understand this before season 3.

Are you all really asking why the producers are staying as far away as possible from getting the main female character acting ferocious and crazy cruel? Series A - the lead female character has crazy self-righteous acts and statements during the whole series, suffers personal losses, burns families and then burns the whole capital - the result is fans being mad at the producers for years, the series finale branded as the worst ever, producers getting personal attacks and hate from all around the globe. Series B - the lead female character shows restraint because she is well aware that she has limited resources (not to mention consideration for her family and kids in particular) -> result fans asking why she isn't acting vengeful. If this comment was a meme, you would see "What do you want?!" meme with Ryan Gosling.

@@flyinbirdy21Lol why would the fans be mad at the writers for following the books? None of which you just described would make fans mad. I’m not sure why you think it would. If you’re alluding to fans being mad about Dany, they weren’t mad because she burned down Kings Landing, they were mad because it was inconsistent with where her character was at that point and they didn’t set it up properly at all. They assassinated all the characters. And Rhaenyra is not Dany at all.

@@StefunnyStrange yeah, precisely, fans were mad claiming something was inconsistent when there were clear signs since season 1. And don't get me started on the Fire and Blood description of the events, you lot have to understand that never in the history of movies/series being based on books were the movies/series accurate representation of what each and every reader imagined they would be. You just have to learn to appreciate them as separate sources.

Two more things… 1.) If season 3 gives us more Mysaria than Coryls scenes again, I will seriously lose my sh*t. I will wreck my TV screen with a metal baseball bat if that happens again. Giving us more Mysaria than Corlys should honestly be illegal and is an ABOMINATION. There is just no justification for you making Mysaria a more important character and having more agency than Corlys Freaking Velaryon! You have an extremely interesting character in Coryls who is adored by the fans and you have an incredible actor in Steve Toussaint so USE HIM. And… 2.) We don’t care about Rhaena anymore. The only way to save the Rhaena scenes and make those boring scenes of her searching for Sheepstealer more watchable is if Rhaena is KILLED by Sheepstealer because Sheepstealer already had a rider: Nettles. You could have Nettles witnessing Sheepstealer kill her and then have Nettles report her death to the Blacks and explain to them that Sheepstealer killed Rhaena because she was already claimed. Baela could be like “WUT?!?!?” upon hearing the news. 😂 I’m half joking but I’m also kinda not. That’s literally the only scenario I can think of that would actually make those scenes of Rhaena searching for the dragon re-watchable. Because at this point, I’m 100% certain that I will be fast forwarding through those scenes if I watch season 2 again which is kinda sad. Killing Rhaena off would also add some needed excitement to the show and would shock the hell out of fans who are all just waiting for Rhaena to claim Sheepstealer which feels anti-climatic. Plus, we’ve already seen the story of a Targaryen child who was belittled for not having a dragon and then claiming a dragon, and that child’s name was AEMOND! Except it was done much better there. We do not need to see that story play out again on screen. Kill sis off please. It would instantly elevate her from a character nobody gives two sh*ts about to a tragic character who played with fire and payed for it with her life. Dragons are also not nomadic so this would fix the issue of Sheepstealer being in the Vale for no reason. Sheepstealer could instead be there because Nettles rode her there. GRRM seems annoyed that you made his dragons nomadic but that would also resolve that issue. I would empty my bank account to see this happen! I’m begging you, Condal! Kill Rhaena. I dare you.
