Perhaps we have a similar issue in English in which we will say "oh" (like the circular letter) as well as "zero" to mean "0". This is similar to using "maru" (circle) and "zero"!

Thank you for this video! It was a great refresher. Could you perhaps do a video on reserving the airport limousine to get back to the airport from the hotel you are staying at? Many foreigners are unaware of this easy mode of transportation back to the airport. Your videos are clear and concise and are very helpful.

I am just going through your videos and think I need to buy more notepads! 🙂 This video will help me so much as I am looking forward to visiting Japan for the first time in August and coming from Scotland to Japan, I am anxious about checking into my hotel and this video is an absolute god send. I will be practicing these phrases every day and was wondering if you will be doing any more private lessons to improve my learning further? Arigato Gozaimasu.

I thought いいえ、was always the wrong answer unless we are doing exericises in a textbook. Like when they ask "何かご不明な点がございますか?" we should not go for the "Genki I - いいえ - solution" but rather just say " 大丈夫です。ありがとうございます。" or something?
@Ninjapanese
