That's why I chose to be a foster mom.. I WILL BE FOSTER 12-18YRS OLD.. THE CHILDREN WILL NOT BE CALLED MY "FOSTER KID". I WILL TREAT THEM WITH LOVE AND RESPECT.. AS IF...THEY ARE MY OWN.. I WILL ENCOURAGE THEM, BUILT THEM UP, SUPPORT THEIR DREAMS/GOALS, I WILL TEACH, PREPARE AND READY THEM FOR HANDLING THEIR PERSONAL DOCUMENTS, TEACH THEM ABOUT MONEY, CREDIT, INSTILL CONFIDENCE IN THEM TO HAVE A VOICE, SPEAK UP/ADVOCATE FOR THEMSELVES, TO KNOW THAT THEIR LIFE IS PRICELESS THEREFORE CAN NOT BE BOUGHT.. THEY WILL GO THRU THE PROCESS OF SETTING UP THEIR OWN BANK ACCOUNTS, LEARNING ABOUT SAVING, HOW USE CREDIT MINDFULLY, I WILL TEACH THEM MY BUSINESS SO THEY CAN WORK FOR OUR BUSINESS, INSTEAD OF GETTING MISTREATED AT THESE JOBS THAT TREAT YOU LIKE SHIT/A SLAVE, DISRESPECT YOU, DO NOT VALUE NOR APPRECIATE YOU.. BUT IT WILL STILL BE THERE CHOICE TO WORK ELSE WHERE.. THEY WILL. E REQUIRES TO TELL ME THEIR GOALS.. THEY WILL BE SHOWN THE VALUE OF COLLEGE.. FOSTER CARE CHILDREN GO TO COLLEGE FOR FREE... THERE'S NO EXCUSE FOR CHILDREN IN FOSTER TO BE ABLE TO GO FOR FREE, BUT THEY DON'T GO. THEY WILL BE REQUIRED TO GAIN A TRADE/COLLEGE.. WE WILL SIT DOWN AND FIGURE ALL OF THAT OUT. THEY WILL KNOW THAT.. THEY ALWAYS CAN ALWAYS CALL ME AND ALWAYS WELCOMED IN MY WORLD AFTER THEY LEAVE ME.. I WILL BE TAKING 2 AT FIRST, TRY NOT TO SPLIT THE SIBLING GROUP OF 2, OR MORE.. IF I HAVE A BIG ENOUGH PLACE.. I KNOW IT'S CHALLENGING AND I'LL BE TRIED.. I HAVE ENOUGH EXPERIENCE.. AND I KNOW I'LL HAVE THE SUPPORT OF THEIR TEAM... I'M EXCITED 🤗. I CAN'T WAIT TO SPOIL THEM LIKE I SPOILED MY DAUGHTER/GRANDSON..

I can relate to this lady's life. I was an abused child, by my own parents. I remember at the age of two or three having nightmares and waking up crying. My father would jerk me out of bed and beat me. My mother, for some unknown reason, threw boiling water in my face. I still have problems with my skin because of it and I am 74 right now. My God people. Wake up and smell the roses! Do not treat kids like punching bags.

Why did Doyle have to prompt the son to hug his mother?! The son gave a half-hearted apology. Furthermore, how can he not show any gratefulness?!

*”I’m sorry it had to happen the way it did”* doesn’t quite cut it young man, and it’s not an apology. You literally stood in front of this judge, and the world, and lied about your mother loaning you money. Either you didn’t mean it when you texted it to her, or you just didn’t think she would keep the text. Things didn’t have to happen the way that they did, so take responsibility for your role. You’re a very smart young man though, I wish you and your mom the best.

Lady Lady this was hard to watch!!! You’ve been through hell and made it out. You are a beautiful woman. I don’t know how those wicked people got away. Being a victim in foster care you had a right to sue why there was no lawsuit against these wicked nasty people and they need never to house anyone ever again!!!! It should not be too late to file lawsuits. Your son I believe will be great in business. The pandemic hurt him and it hurt a lot of us. A little pick me up he’ll be fine.

Even if he assumed they were loans. Once he got on his feet if his mom whom he say has always taken care of him asked for repayment he shouldve said he thought it was a gift but he would be glad to pay her back. She has spoiled that entitled young man and now he is acting ungrateful and entitled.

Even if it was never discussed that it was a loan, how could he just be OK with his mom giving him all that money and not even making any attempts to give her her money back simply as a man. When I was 17 years old my mom paid $1350 down on my first car when I was 18 years old I gave her all of that money back never did she ask for it .

From the plaintiffs mom causing the effects of her kids being split into the system, from the plaintiff dealing w/ a man that verbally abused her & r*ped her, from her son having to be reminded of his mother’s testimony.... from us the viewers trying to process this all Defendant had me going up until he lied that the money his mom gave him wasn’t a loan. Glad she produced solid evidence. The silent look on his face though. Conclusion: Children, don’t ever embarrass our parents by having them bring us to court for something that could’ve been resolved at home.

This woman has really survived and been through alot so much. From the military life up till now. it is by the grace of God she survived it till this moment. Some women would not be able to survive it and stand strong like the way she's doing. As a reminder, mother's stop spoiling your kids even after when they are grown whether male or female. Because, when this type of issues arises, it becomes an inevitable circumstances to receive back. Brothers and sisters, stop collecting money from your parents and end up not wanting to pay back because, you know nothing can happen. But when they end up chasing you away from the house, you start calling them names and saying they are wicked. If this happened in some Africa countries, you dare not owe your parents and come out to say you won't pay back. You will get flogged. After they are done flogging you, you will remember that KAKI NO BE LEATHER.

My heart breaks for this mom. She is so beautiful physically and emotionally. She has such a Grace humbleness in Beauty about her. The love she has for her son is evident and I'm saddened that he could not express the same amount of Love towards her at the end. Then, to come on here and lie about the loans was just an insult. Grateful that Judge Mathis is going to help her with her struggles. She is a testimony

Well if the young man “borrowed” the money and he said he did, then he “owes” his mom the money. The mom waited, was kind, understood & now it’s time to “PAY,” don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Mom is there through thick and thin.

It's amazing that she survived all these traumas and went on to raise her son as she did with love and care. I think parents should never loan money to their kids with the expectation of getting it back. Only give what you can, observe their behaviors, and use it as a teaching moment. Reward them if they keep their words and give them tough love if they don't repay and come back to ask for more. But don't give an amount that'll make you cut ties.

I believe the son needs counciling as well ... Can you imagine his mother telling him what all his father did to her and not have some fixed emotions and anger? And although he understands her controlling nature through JM it doesn't excuse the fact that she needed it way before he offered and the son had to grow up with that trauma. I applaud him and her for coming forth and talking about it but they both need healing not just mom.

They take children from their parents to hell in the name of child protection services. Child protection from the hell should be stopped at all those offices and interfering with the families. If they really want to help, they should provide help to the parents to be able to take care of their kids and not to take their kids away.
