I bought one of these at Long Beach, still experimenting with it. The primary reason for the bottom heat is that in a typical hat press the temperature needed to be very high in order to get through the patch to the adhesive. With that high temperature there was a high degree of probability that the top of the hat would be scorched. The bottom heat solves that by getting to the adhesive from the bottom rather than from the top with high heat which put you at risk of scorching the hat.

Haven’t had luck with it, bought one and it had to be replaced 2x the bottom platen stopped heating up. If they resolve this I’ll buy another!

Hey by chance do you know how to reset the FUSION IQ password? I just go tmy machine and when I turned on it asked for a password. I tried the defaults which is M for Manager and U for User but it does not work so I am locked out of setting up my machine. Thanks
