Hello all. Jeff thank you for the run down on the @ease product. I have used in my inline system for about a year and a half. It cost a little more to use this product, but it seems to be worth it. Zero issues with cloudy water and it stays within range with small, easy corrections now and then. I use a little shock every few sessions myself for safe measure. FROG did change the @ease test steps with a new purple (instead of green) indicator for smartchlor level. Works ok, probably better. I appreciate the low maintenance factor. It really can't get any easier....

Hi Jeff just letting you know I've used this system for over 3 years now. I've struggled trying to get my water sanitized at a nice level the first 2 years I've owned it. It's the easiest system I know of. When you change the water just get the ph/alkalinity balanced then add the jump start packet and ball in. I change my smartchlor cartridge once a month

Looking forward to the follow up video on this. I use this Frog system and love it. It’s more expensive than daily chlorine juggling, but so worth it.

I have only been using this system for about 6 weeks. Absolutely no issues so far. Set it and forget it. My water is clear and in the range of where it should be. No hassle of checking the levels every day or so. I check about once a week. Always in the range. Maybe not perfectly the exact level. Clear water. No rashes or anything. I did shock it once and do use defoamer when needed.

We love our frog! Not much to do but enjoy the tub. After a large bather load, I shock, but just myself and my wife we can go the month with no shock and just the frog

Hi Jeff. I am using this on my new hot tub the last 10 weeks and I love the easiness of handling it. I have to add that frog shock package every 4-5 weeks and use little PH increaser weekly depending on usage. Looking forward on your follow up video what you think. 🎉

I have been using this for about two weeks. My question is the shock with this system? How often do you shock it or how do you know when you need to shock it?? If you do use shock can you use any type of shock or just the frog shock packets?

I have been using Leisure Time Replenish every few uses. Just to be safe. Frog products are fine and you can get in the little pouch.

Either. You can buy the Frog shock product or off the shelf. I have been using Leisure Time Replenish every few uses. It can't hurt.....

Jeff the blue part will alway make noise when you shake it. Even though is all gone. The silver part will only make noise when full.

Have you made a follow up video yet?

I know they have since updated the app because they have the app down for like a month. But I tried this product when I first got my hot tub buddy a year ago and the app has to take a picture of the strip and then upload that picture into the app. I would use the same picture and get different results each time. I scanned it. Can anyone comment on the new app?

I think i will stick with the old fashion way of checking my levels way to expensive in my mind. I can check and add when needed.

You said you did not need to add the chlorine starter because you had already treated the water. What did you treat it with? Use non-chlorine shock. Spa Depot makes a great MPS shock. Use only the Frog@Ease test strips. This excellent product is not going to go well for you. But that's to be expected from a guy who always just eyeballs chemicals; said a guy using AhhSome to purge his hot tub not to remove the headrests and a myriad of other things I've seen you do or not do.

Product is bs and a scam. Just use a regular cheap floater.
@michaelhartling68094 ай бұрын
Price wise you are correct. It is expensive. Other than that it is the best no hassle way to get the hot tub levels correct. I do only have a 315 gallon inflatable hot tub. So,there may be somewhat of a different. Although the Frog system goes up to 600 gallons. Also I do not go crazy checking my chemical levels. I checked it maybe once a week. Basically if the water is clear and no one gets a rash or anything. It is easy and no hassle.

I agree Threw mine out and use bromine tabs in a floater. Works great and is easy on the pocket book

Yup same. Seems a little too expensive for me. Floater with bromine tabs, fill once a week Chlorine shock once a week, about 1/2 a cup. Alkalinity and ph up as needed. Drain tub every 3-4 months. (With oh yuk cleaner) Swap out filters every water change. Always crystal, haven't had an issue in 3 years. Will admit tho, this took me about 6 months to get down when I first got my tub 😅

@@way187whatever works for you. I am just stating my experience with Frog Ease so far. Absolutely no issues. Crystal clear water. No issues at all. Set it and nearly forget it. Yes it is a little more expensive. Although my local pool store has it for $10-$15 less than other places like Amazon. The price is worth it for no hassle and having to have multiple different chemicals. Have a great day!

I dont use the floating frog as mind connects to the filters. Same principle. It works great. I pair it with using the icare water monitor which i can pull up on my cell phone anytime to see the water levels. Normally I only have to add Ph up to my hot tub every week and maybe if using alot I have to add a little chlorine. The icare monitor is very expensive but to me way easier than strips.
