What is the difference between bromine granules and bromine tablets? Is it better to use granules so that they melt faster? Into the water and can you get in the water after you put Brein granules?

watched several of your videos hoping for some insight in using a product by Clorox called 'All in ONe" that claims to combine the effects of shock and sanitizer in one. I am fine just using my bro tabs and biweekly shock, or a 1/4 cup after it's been used. But I found myself out of bro, almost out of shock and low on money and I saw this product in Lowes. Cheaper than just bromine. Thought it might take care of both jobs for a few months when , hopefully, I'll have a little more green in my wallet [and hopefully not in my hottub, lol. If you've covered this already, I didn't find it [obviously]. And I didn't buy it but I will be returning to Lowes or somewhere else to get shock soon. What should I know about this magical all in one before the shock in my hourglass runneth empty.?

I have a floater but find I still need to add bromine powder to keep the level up . Any suggestions why the tablets aren’t enough? Thanks.

Tablets are mostly chlorine, for the first good while you are basically only using chlorine. look at adding sodium bromide powder first, then tablets. It takes a long time to build up bromine with tablets. When you have the base amount of bromine to start with, shocking converts the used up bromamines back into bromic acid (bromine). You need to shock after the initial sodium bromine dose to convert it to bromine.

How do you adjust the alkalinity? you can't find hardly anything to bring the alkalinity levels down, unless you use the pH down, but when I bring my pH levels down the alkalinity levels don't go normally down that much. Is there anything you can use just for alkalinity? And we live in the country so we use hard water, the hard water levels never go down , always high, what can I do?

I dont know of anything other than PH down for High Alkalinity... As far as I know there is no powder for Alkalinity down.

Muriatic Acid lowers pH and alkalinity, unfortunately there's no way of adjusting just one or the other. With hard water try and keep your alkalinity towards the lower end of the spectrum which in turn will keep your pH from spiking.
