Masterful as always, Chad. That has been our favorite family beach for countless outings and weenie roasts. Thanks for the memories!

Thanks Rick! glad I could spark some good memories. I've been going there for over 20 years. One of the best, if not THE best view of the ocean IMO.

Beautiful video chad, well done. Kept waiting to see those two fellas out in the waves,

Yeah some surfing shots would have been cool, but I was only there 8 minutes. Looking back at it, I could have just flown the quad down to the sand and got some closeups. I'm not used to having space below me to fly.

LOL... I just added the EZuhf radio to my quad, lovely feeling knowing the control link is far more than video best case... if I can see I can relax and fly.

Thanks Steve! I've been working on working that gimbal. I have a new partner and we're putting a GH4 in the air with an S1000 octocopter. We have the stuff on pre-opder. Can]t wait! Then we'll have one guy flying, and one operating the gimbal/camera.

Dude, your most beautiful yet. Also, what a day you chose...

Yes Juanita, it was perfect out there on Thanksgiving morning. I had got footage for a friend at Patrick's Point Dr. just before this, then after I headed to Moonstone Beach. Those videos will come over the coming weeks. It was magically quadlicious!

Chad this video is great. If I can achieve this quality with my XP2 and XPG I will be really happy. I am just fine tuning (not sure what I am doing) at the moment to get rid of the odd glitch. Have just fitted an ND.09 to the GP3 Black camera and I must say the XPG Utility with presets is proving useful, something that no one else seems to do with their gimbals.

Cool Bruce. I'm flying a Hero3+ with FPV and an ND. I had to stabilize all this footage. I still can't fly forward without getting bumpy footage. I can climb and pan smoothly. They say they are working on new utility settings. I really hope they finish the XPG tweaks soon.

Chad, how heavy a camera could your machine carry? Thinking Canon 5D Mk II. Thanks
@ChadWork111 жыл бұрын
A 5D MkIII, or any of the Canons are too heavy. This will do a mirrorless like an NEX-5R, and with the gimbal that goes with that. Maybe a GH3. But any more you need a bigger aircraft. You have to consider the weight of the gimbal that will work with a particular camera.
