I would really like to know what materials you used for this. I want to do something similar over an old space I can use for storage. And use the concrete pad for a deck.

Why did you not use Spancrete preformed panels for the second floor?

The architect & the structural engineer had designed the second floor as seen : the steel layer is supported by K truss beams attached to wide flange steel beams. The steel layer is topped off with 4" of reinforced concrete. The ceiling height of the 1st floor would be fine at 10', so the use of precast hollow core concrete planks was not necessary as on the basement ceiling.
