I absolutely teared up when you, Granger so naturally said “Thursday will be the last day you only have three kids, Friday you will have four.” To Amber. Everyone always says my son is my only child and I have to correct them and say I have a daughter as well, the fact that she resides in heaven does not change that she is my daughter. I know a lot of people doubted the wood ceilings, but they look great. Taking out the extra gray boards really makes them pop and the lighting makes a huge difference too. They are beautiful. Very lovely home. I totally like the no TV in living room idea and losing the useless bonus rooms.

1- The house turned out AMAZING. I had my doubts about the ceilings but they turned out stunning. 2- THANK YALL for showing. I have been so excited for this. 3- Granger when you brought up the house size I actually was just thinking about you guys and that same thing the other day. I said this somewhere else but if people don't realize how humble y'all are they are crazy. You don't have to live like Jason & Brittany Aldean to be happy. That isn't you guys. I would have never thought of putting the reclaimed wood and beam on the ceiling above your bed, but it is gorgeous. Love it!! It all came together just beautifully. ❤ We chose to downsize from 3,400 sq ft as a family of 5 and now we are in 2,382 as a family of 7. We also have a big kitchen/dining/living space and love it. Love having everyone close together. We have a sign up that says, "Love grows best in little houses, with fewer walls to separate.
