musiklover2 This house should cost no more than $100,000 with the land included. If you’re willing to go a little past fort Jacques you can buy land that size for $10k. The bag of cement is less than $6. We built a nice home over a period of 5 years for less than 100k. Asking price and value of a home has really nothing to do with cost of materials in this day and age. The seller has every right to ask for that price but my comment was directed to working class Haitians and Blacks from the diaspora that want to start a project in Haiti.

we are thinking of purchasing in Haiti. One word of advice when trying to entice the buyer would be to have more activities to surround what you are trying to sell. Anything over 300k is going to need selling points for the buyer. You are selling something that runs the same price as a home in the U.S. with no solid economic foundation there. Maybe lower the price and build a couple of businesses off profit to gain buyer momentum.

You guys need to understand Haitian Culture. It's priced in a way to allow haggling. It is to be negociated and you're getting a good sized land with the home. Also, when selling a home in Haiti, the asked price includes everything, fees, taxes, notary fees, everything you can think of. No surprise closing fees like in the US. Buying a home is pretty straightforward in Haiti. Way less of a hassle than in the US. Also, a lot of the commenters here, your ignorance is showing. Because the country is poor, it doesn't mean construction materials cost any less. Type real estate Haiti on Google and you'll see houses priced millions in Haiti and yes they get easily sold. You guys need to subscribe to this channel and learn more about Haiti because clearly you have lots of prejudiced ideas. 😂

That!!!!!!!! I am compelled to totally disagree with you Haiti is notoriously known for that, you can buy a property from someone and later on some folks show up at your door claiming the person who sold you the house didn't have legal right to sell the house, and ask want you to vacate your home. A lot more caution and due dilliegence is required in Haiti to ensure that you're legally getting what you're paying for. Additionally there is no insurance or assurance "as is baby" no home inspection. I must say Haiti needs to be DECENTRALIZED and Decorrupted. The country's economy isn't capable of sustaining this level of corrpution at every cabinet level and silmutaneously take proper care of its citiezenry. The over-pricing and haggling???? that's targeting fools!!!!!!

Ayïsien gen grenn pasé béréjèn, the house is not worth the price way too much money, it’s so outdated, and they should’ve fix the house before showing stuff are all over the place the area maybe nice and safe but that’s about it. Needs lots of Renovations before even thinkin that price it’s a no for me.
