So excited for you!!! But just an FYI. Inflation currently has interest rates on mortgages the highest they’ve been in decades. If you wait until after the election, you could possibly save yourself hundreds of dollars a month in a house payment, and hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of loan. Of course you could also just refinance when mortgage rates go lower. Again, so excited & happy for you!!! Just wanted to pass on a little info.
