Depends honestly. You only need 2 10-12 episode season to conclude the majority of the dance. I would love a season 3 to show what happens after the dance.

It kind of depends I think. I don't want them to ever go shorter unless they don't have the writing to back it up. If they feel good about their script for 10 episodes, definitely let's do it! If only 8, I'll roll with 8!

I mean I’m not surprised. Viserys allowed the maesters to butcher Aemma in S1’s first episode , so Daemon giving orders to off his great nephew in S2’s first episode isn’t that far fetched 🤷🏽‍♀️. But honestly, you gotta be a certain type of person to enjoy a show that from here on out, is about a family killing each other.

Personally I’m on team black if the king says that he wanted Rhaenerya to take over everyone should of respected that what the Greens did was straight up treason. I think the show and books give more of a bias just on how grimy Otto is and how horrible Aegon the Older is. They do a good job writing Alicent even though she is essentially medieval Karen lol.

@@Holy-Hand-Grenade-of-Antioch Honestly it gives more credence as to why Rhaenerya in the books doesn’t kill her later on. Alicent must tell her about the prophecy and she realizes that a mistake was made. Prophecy get misinterpreted by people a lot in the series.

Hey I respect that - I mean both are *very* good seasons. GOT had the tough task of starting it all, and relatively speaking, they did really well. HOTD gets some help from us already know the universe and stuff - so who am I to say either is really much better! I love the thoughts
