Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I'm your host Paul and this video we're breaking down House Of The Dragon.

The trailer for episode 3 has just come out and throughout this video we're gonna be going through it frame by frame to point out the easter eggs, hidden details, nods to the book and everything you might have missed.
Obviously heavy spoilers ahead so if you don't want anything from the next episode potential ruined then I recommend you turn off now. Hit the thumbs up though if you enjoy it and make sure you subscribe for our breakdowns on the episodes right after they release.
With that out the way, thank you for clicking this, now let's get into House Of The Dragon.

Now the trailer begins with the gates of Kings landing and the green forces marching to war. This is how the chapter immediately following a son for a son begins with that being titled the dying of the dragons, the red dragon and the gold.
The work then says:
Initially both claimants to the Iron Throne flew the three-headed dragon of House Targaryen, red on black, but by the end of 129 AC, both Aegon and Rhaenyra had introduced variations to distinguish their own supporters from their foes. The king changed the color of the dragon
on his banners from red to gold, to celebrate the brilliant golden scales of his dragon, Sunfyre, whilst the queen quartered the Targaryen arms with those of House Arryn and House Velaryon, in honor of her lady mother and her first husband, respectively.

That's great execution on the shows part. Along with stellar acting and scoring. I felt for him too, but I think I've seen enough to at least somewhat conclude he wants a peaceful transition. He wants something but never wanted to truly spill blood. (Edit he's not truly a monster that kills for what he wants). Just another character flaw. He's conflicted, but he's not even close to the worst decision maker at the moment.

Episode 2 was really good and helped tie up some loose ends that people were complaining about after the first episode of the season. Excited to see where this is going! They’re clearly putting a lot of thought into this show, more than any of the die hard fans seem to realize. People seem to forget that the book is not meant to be an accurate history. It’s a historical account from people who were not direct witnesses to all the events. And the show is going out of its way to show us that those historical accounts are flawed, and at times manipulated for the political gain of the victors.
