Isn't Monet still a telepath? Why didn't she sense that guy was going to do that and stop him? Very odd choice of who Cyclops brought. What were some of those characters going to do in a space station fight? Archangel in particular would have been useless in close quarters. Were they characters willing to sacrifice themselves? Altho since Wolverine was there and he's in the future, they may not have died.

Part of me hopes that Xavier will stay gansta for the long haul. I know they probably won't, but I love the fact that Xavier's plan is finally something I can get on board with. Another thought, what if all of the mutants are in pods and the ones walking around now are something like pod people? Their original bodies are tucked away safe. Even though Moira is supposedly reliving her lives over again, what if a "Mutant Master Mold", Krakoa, captured the X-Men, subverted Xavier's dream, caused this clandestine action and initiated the eventual take over of Earth, with its Mutant Copies.

Never been a big fan of Cyclops or any of his iterations (well, cept for AOA lol) but you gotta respect him. In every version he's a person of conviction. ALSO, love Sabertooth is savage again, and Emma, ugh, just being Emma, I love it! She's so FIERCE! I'm thinking since Erasmus made a point to comment on Nightcrawler's abilities, I think Nightcrawler is the one who gets them out of there before it goes down. Especially sicne he knows the layou of the Forge now. Hickman has said this story is canon to the main Marvel continuity. But as some has theorized, this may not be the final "Life" of Moira. Maybe she does get that 11th life afterall.

My running theory until Hickman’s next issues of HOX/POX laughs in my face while closing the Maybach door: this mission goes belly up and everything ends with Moira taking everything she learned from this 10th timeline failure, and it is from here, she goes back in time for the final time, and the upcoming X-Men books is going to be the *actual* current timeline.

I think that Professor X was being literal. Remember Chapter 1? These X-Men came out a Krakoan plant in the first 3 pages of that book. I think that the memory they're referring to is Krakoa's. And that Krakoa itself has the power of recreating them. In that page we see Professor X wait as they're "born" and calls *this group specifically* (sans Mystique) "to me my X-Men". I dont know if i'm reading too much into it, but Hickman has changed so much, that I wouldn't be surprised if he gave that power to Krakoa and that as long as Professor X has a psychic copy of them, no mutant can really be killed... Well now i know that i'm definitively reading too much into it.

I'll admit...after the first read I thought, "hmm...nice issue...seems more like a filler." Then I read it again and for some reason it sticks out more to me as a dynamic issue. I LOVE the dialogue...although the scenes between Cyclops, Xavier, and Magneto were a little...creepy... But something is telling me that there is a reason behind this...creepiness of Xavier. I think he's being fed all of Moria's memories from Her past Lives...I think that might be the secret behind Cerebro. One thing that makes me think of that is when Monet says the reasoning for NOT letting the Mother Mold and Orchis get hold of Krakoa Fauna/tech. I think if the Mother Mold discovered Moria's past lives it will give Orchis a super advantage. And that page with Nightcrawler bamfing is one of my favorites!

I am surmising that HOUSE of X is actually the Life of Moira X Number 10 and this life will end by the end of this series as well leading to the six new titles which will follow the Life of Moira X 11 and her possible last shot at getting this all right.

After reading this story, this didn't seem like a good guys verses bad guys. It seemed like mutant Storm troopers going in to crush a rebellion. The whole premise of this, "If you are human, then you are trash." In some sense, it reeks of propoganda. Instead of cheering for the underdog, i find myself cheering for the resistance. The piece with Frost, "diplomatic immunity", horse hockey. Come into my home, take what you want and then get off scott free. Where do i sign up for the Omega Sentinels program.

I think it was less a matter of power, and more a matter of they knew regardless of who they sent, some or none may come back. You want those who would be perfectly ok laying their lives down for future mutant generations. Also, you want the crew who has less scruples about killing people.

I mean you say that, but who would and wouldn't be a self-sacrificing martyr is a bit subjective and arguably left up to the writers since all the X-men have general personalities but the writer could easily have put well, these mutants you THINK would lay down their life for this particular mission didn't. Especially since we don't know how their personalities are in this universe. Plus, we still don't know the ramifications of the blast, whose to say they were still in the ship or didn't have some trump card. All we saw was the explosion and it just left it on a dramatic ending.
