He was deeply loved by Rosalynn Carter throughout their 77 years of marriage. Sadly for Jimmy, she passed last year. We should be so lucky to have a Jimmy in our lives.

Hot dogs and fabulous cookies, all you need. Michael’s food tastes remind me of what my husband would order. I have never eaten at Cafe Luxembourg; when I walk around NYC, I am East side oriented. Must go some day and experience it. Wish I had that local diner near me . I saw Sole on their menu. One of my favorites. Michael is so authentic, just love him. His cup of coffee brought back memories of 30 years ago when my son was in Montessori school and we went to another families house. She gave me a cup of coffee which I tried to drink with much sugar and milk, so I would not offend her hospitality but I am a tea drinker. Now I can order cafe latte, it is mostly milk. Can’t wait to see their new East side apartment.

HOW FUN!! My favorite part of your love letter to the upper west side was actually all the shots of practicing the tango in Patagonia. In the 70s, while in high school, I visited my sister who lived near your 1st studio. Coming from the midwest, NYC was my intro to really living LIFE! Back then, walking back to her studio at 88th and Amsterdam, the laundry was hanging out on Broadway and Spanish music and conversations flowed freely out into the streets from those open windows. It was breathtaking.

Well I literally don't know where to start. I guess I'll quote Wizard Of Oz where someone says: It's always best to start at the beginning..or something like that. Anyway, when I first stumbled onto Homeworthy I immediately was smitten by Alison & I THINK I did make a comment back then. I was doing my best NOT to make it "creepy". LOL. I'm old...old..old. 63. Divorced after a 25 year marriage. So I realized immediately, being 63 and living half way around the country that our romance was doomed. When I saw this video flash upon my screen..I was like..UH OH. Now I'm gonna have to see the man, she threw me over for. And I'm thrilled to see she married a great guy. I could be best buds with Michael. He reminds me so much of an Irish pal I had when I lived in Chicago. So congrats, you two are great for each other. I love the way Alison will get these odd faces BUT doesn't say anything, just has this odd face when Michael is going off on something. It's hysterical. Really, I wish you two the best. You're both lucky to have found each other. I was talking to a close friend of mine yesterday as I drove him to the Atlanta airport (ugh) that what hooks me into watching utube series really is determine by one thing. The people on the channel. If I like them, I'll pretty much watch anything. You two of course have become my favorite Homeworthy episode and it begs the question should you two at some point have a channel where u both appear? Of course you should. Your apartment was lovely...no surprise there! And I LOVED the NOSE! So graphic so cool so surrealistic. I'd definitely have it in my house. I love art though not into "modern". My tastes very much mirror your taste in art Alison but that NOSE! Maybe it's because I'm Italian. I was born in Milano. I have a thing about noses. LOL. Oh ONE question then I'll scurry off. Do episodes of Homeworthy with, oh how do I say this delicately, "problematic" hosts tend to get poorer viewing? Less comments...less likes...etc. I would think so. I know I've totally turned off some of the Homeworthy videos because the hosts were, for me, so irritating? LOL. I mean it must be a consideration at some point. But I suppose the old saying is true, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So that's it. Great video. Great couple the two of you make and I will continue to be a faithful viewer. On our wedding day, we got changed to head out to our hotel but before we could go there, my husband said "My parents want to take all of us to dinner while everyone's in town, is that ok?" SERIOUSLY?!! But even before that, he asked to stop at the mall, why....because he forgot to get me a wedding gift! Amazing that we are still together after 31 years! I can't tell you how much I binge on Homeworthy. I live in a tiny little apartment in Riverdale and I am slowly coming up to a Homeworthy look ❤ I also want a Michael in my life 😂😂😂😂 what a cool and easy going guy he is 😊 you are so lucky ❤ what a beautiful couple you two make. Looooove this episode of Homeworthy, I am a New Yorker living in Riverdale ( Bronx) but I treat myself to the upper west side every Sunday after church. Looooove Columbus Avenue and I go to the movies on 67st and the pottery Barn and of Rosetta and Lincoln Center where I worked for years at School of American Ballet. Best episode, and got better when George Hahn showed up! I live on L.I. and love the UWS. The Viand is my favorite diner as well. Loved seeing Gray’s Papaya, love a good “snap dog”. Love this episode, it reminded me of my first studio which I had for 7 years and when I moved with my boyfriend, my brother who was a student at the time, took over for a few years, I think this studio was rented by us for a total of 10 years. Did I forget to mention that it was located in the Old Québec city which is so romantic and lovely and where all the nice cafés, restaurants, shops, book stores, are and much more. ! Great video, thanks for sharing with us.
