Villa IJselzig is located on the edge of IJsselstein, a small village in the Netherlands.
The owner of the Villa had two important wishes for his home - designed by Eva Architects. A house with sufficient daylight and enough privacy. Upon entering the house, it is immediately clear how the owner's wishes have been fulfilled.
By placing a large wooden frame in the middle of the room, the view becomes withdrawn from the inside, creating immediate privacy and the wooden frame determines the floor plan of the home in its entirety.
Villa IJselzig has a living space of 250 square meters and is located on a plot of approximately 1300 square meters. The villa was completed in September 2016.
The following parties have worked on the realization of that project, EVA Architects, NEST, Wood Wave, Petersen, Linda Hunter, Brink Licht, De Ridder Staalbouw.
