Honestly, it's sad that expecting parents have to ask for people not to comment things that could be triggering or anxiety inducing. I found out I was pregnant and not even 45 minutes after I found out, my "best friend" decided to tell me how my body will react to pregnancy, what things would harm the baby, things I've already done that could have harmed it, told me what symptoms etc I would get and decided to make a completely stupid, nasty and bizarre comment about my relationship with my partner. Safe to say we're not friends anymore as when I was honest with her about how she made me feel, how she scared me and that it was wrong of her to give me "advice" that I didn't ask for she then tried to make herself the victim. As it is, what she told me wasn't true but i had so much anxiety over it, rang 111 countless times because I thought I'd hurt my unborn child before I knew I was pregnant and saw the out-of-hours doctor and cried in the appointment to her. At the end of the day, to anyone reading this who is pregnant, NOBODY has any right to give you "advice" you didn't ask for. The only people I listen to is my midwife and my partner. I just don't get why people feel the need to involve themselves in a pregnancy that isn't theirs.

When I found out I was pregnant, i came across the booked called "Like a Mother" and it covers this issue in it too and it gave a great perspective on how inappropriate people are toward pregnant people.

I think pregnancy and raising a child is the most opinionated subject as so many people has done it. There is no right way to parent, I am sorry that you experienced this it's not very reassuring when it's all new I would imagine

My issue I took with her is giving advice that I didn't ask for especially due to the fact I have two serious underlying health conditions that she has no idea what it feels like to have, so her flooding me with incorrect information when I'd only just found out I was pregnant, hurt.

When you were talking about people who say it’s bad luck to put up baby furniture before the baby is born. What else are people supposed to do? Wait until the baby is born and all you have is free time?😂 A little fun thing to do, is look up old old superstitions about pregnancy. My sister and I did that before her son was born. Did you know that if you look through a keyhole while pregnant, that your baby will be born selfish😂 Stupid and fun stuff like that😅

I would recommend hanging one of the coat hook racks alot lower that way when your little girl is a toddler you can teach her to put her own coat on the hook when you get home. Honestly i did it for my little boy its a life saver,making walking through the door a little bit easier

just thinking about your tiles for the dog bath, it might be good to do dark grout as the white grout will be hard to keep white and might annoy you in future with the wear and tear of it🥰

The house is looking beautiful! Was going to suggest maybe painting the back wall which the dog bath backs onto a darker colour (wipe clean / bathroom paint) incase Mila shakes when she’s covered in mud after a walk x

Loved the video as always ❤️Quick question about the garage, shouldn’t that door between the utility room and mini garage be a fire door? Unfortunately we had a fire at my family home a few weeks ago in the garage but luckily it didn’t spread into the main house all thanks to the fire door. The fire completely destroyed the garage and the fire brigade have told us if it wasn’t for the fire door between the house and the garage my family may not have got out in time. I would stagger the coat hooks in the utility room, have one higher up to the left and one lower to the right. That way one is low enough for your kiddos to grab their coats from and leaves the taller one for mum & dad's coats which will be longer

Just from personal experience with our coat hooks, it’s deffo more practical being next to each other rather than on top. Sometimes the coats beneath mean that they come out so far and the top coats fall off. We ended up having to move our hooks for that reason😂. Everything looks amazing can’t wait to see how happy you are when it’s all finished 💕

The only youtubers i can watch on repeat and never get bored. So refreshing to see youtubers who are so down to earth. Also loving all the house improvements gets better and bettrr each time i watch. Maybe ask the builders to put an air vent in the utility. We didnt at first and the walls got mouldy due to lack of ventilation and the machines just getting too hot for the room xxxx

Just a little thought, I would paint the wood base of the hooks the same colour as the cabinets in the utillity and you could even have a little cupboard above the hooks going along that wall for extra storage i think it would fram the whole bench and wall really nicely xx

I’m not sure if you have thought of this or even planned it but how about a hinged countertop over the dog was station? It could be hinged to stay open when bathing Mila but I always like a countertop to fold clothes on after washing and drying them. You sure have high walls to put lots of shelving up in the utility room - it’s great. The cot is so sweet!

Years ago shops held items until the birth, when my first son was over 2 weeks early he had to sleep in a drawer while we waited for the nursery items to be delivered! It didn't harm him but I love that parents today have everything ready. Love watching you as you prepare for baby girl.

If you put a copper penny (1p or 2p) in the vase of tulips, the tulips will gradually stand up straight as opposed to bending 🌷😌 I learnt this from my great nan and it always works !!

I'm not sure if you'll read this but you could put one set of hooks in the corner by the side of the door to the garage and the other set of hooks on the other wall so they're at 90° and then it leaves the space by the light switch. I don't know if my explanation is the best 😅

Obsessed with the black doors!! Have you thought about hanging the coat hooks on the same wall as the door to the garage, one on top of the other? They may be less in the way when sat on the bench to put your shoes on. Sending lots of love

I had everything built before the baby was here always better to be organised cause after 37 weeks you can go early dont want to panic you but i happens. I was a week early with my baby girl. Yous are doing amazing everyone is going to have an opinion but yous do whats best for yous 💖 only thing i was told was dont have the pram in the house before the baby arrives (old wifes fish tail) but the cot/next to me grip/bouncy chair was all built. I always thinks it makes it feel more real when you see all her little things laid out .. not long 🤩 you have got this xx

I had eucalyptus in my wedding bouquet 3 months ago and it just dried itself out. It didn’t go brown or shrivel, it just dried to I kept a little bit for the wedding scrapbook. So I’d say if you notice it’s on its way out, remove it from the water, leave it in a warm place for a week or so and let it dry itself and if it’s anything like mine you should just be able to use it dry like the other one you have x

Hi James and Carys! We have a gas fire and you should be able to remove the wee drawer from underneath and to the right their should be a clock like turner. make sure you hold/press it in until you hear a click and turn down to 6 O'clock. This sounds a bit odd lol but my dad also stuffs the chimney with a bag of plastic bags to prevent a draft when we're not using it. But just remember its there when you go to turn it on and take it out! Also make sure you've the gas turned on too from the outside! Hope this helps! :)

If you put a two pence piece into the vase with the tulips it will stop them from drooping, also cut a couple of inches off the bottom of the tulips as they continue to grow xx
