திருமண வாழ்வில் நுழைய இருக்கும் ஆண், பெண் யாராக இருந்தாலும் தங்களுக்குள்ள பொறுப்புகளையும், கடமைகளையும், கட்டுப்பாடுகளையும் உணர்ந்தவர்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும். தனக்காக வாழாமல், தன்னை நம்பி உள்ள தன் குடும்ப உறவுகளுக்கு சேவை செய்து உழைக்கும் அன்பு எண்ணம் கொண்டவர்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும். இத்தகைய ஆண்கள் மற்றும் பெண்களை தான் திருமண பந்தத்திற்க்குள் செல்ல தகுதி படைத்தவர்களாக அனுமதிக்க வேண்டும். ஒரு குடும்பத்தில் ஒரு ஆண் தனக்காக வாழாமல் தன் மனைவி, பிள்ளைகள் மற்றும் உறவுகளுக்காகவே தன்னை அர்ப்பணிப்பதும்,அதே போன்று ஒரு பெண் தனக்காக வாழாமல் தன் கணவன், பிள்ளைகள் மற்றும் உறவுகளுக்காகவே சேவை செய்வதும், பிள்ளைகள் தன் தாய், தந்தையின் கவுரவத்திற்க்கும், மாண்பிர்க்கும் பெருமை சேர்க்கும் வகையில் உழைப்பதும் என்று இருந்தால் அந்த குடும்பமே ஒரு கோவிலாகும்.
