Hi Beau, I grew up in the late 60s to early 70s...yup I was one of those flower children. We used to talk to all our plants and play music for them. Of course that was while making macrame hangers for them. They were always so full and vibrant. I need to start getting back into plants and this video has given me the inspo to begin ❤💚💜💙💛

Hi Beau your home and plants are beautiful, the money tree you can add 2 ice cubes once a week or 3 TBSP of water once a week for a 5 in width pot, that’s what I read when I was looking to buy one. Love all your videos keep them coming. Stay safe and God Bless You 🤗

Hello Handsome🌹. Your plants are gorgeous. I always admire them in your background. I "inherited" Dumb Canes and cactus plant 🌵from my Mom. The roots on them are at least 40yrs old😁. My neighbors are always asking me for a piece to grow. I cut mine often and put them in water. I also inherited a Cactus plant and I have an almond plant, Snake plant and my newest are Ivy. I'm happy you did this video 💞. I always say "If a person don't like caring for plants or pets, are not people I particularly want to be around" stay blessed 🙏🏽🇯🇲🖤💚💛

You are a good plant daddy, Beau, and green thumb or not, they respond to your love and care for them! Wow - that Alocasia has amazing leaves! I had never seen one before. And wow - that bird of paradise-impressive! I have many cats 16+ yrs that like to nibble on plants, so for their safety & my peace of mind, have not had houseplants for a long time. Thanks for sharing yours! On a side note, you've gotten me taking a closer look at the crystal/glass candle holders when browsing my local thrift stores. As a result, I have seen several incredibly unique & beautiful sets! Also, I love how you showcase your glassware on you glass tabletop in front of the window - gorgeous!

I am a plant mum to over 30 plants (my grandkids counted them on their last visit ) . I feed them once every two weeks, i get Alexa to remind me! I have had several plants from my Peace Lily by separating it and potting and they grow so well ! Yours are so healthy looking Beau ! 💙💙💙

Hi Beau. I’m from Brisbane Australia and I found my Alocasia died back in the winter and reshot again in the summer. When this happens, it’s important not to water it and store it in a dry spot. When the new shoots appear you can begin watering again

I have a peace lily and it’s not growing fast as yours and you are right it needs a lot of water, in fact I have just watered then I saw your notification bell. Love love monstera plant. Look out for a golden pothos (Devils Ivy) a beautiful plant which I my opinion an easy plant to take care of. It’s also a climber.

But, listening to you about what affects that plant made me realize I had my Money Tree in the wrong place in my home. I might try again. Also, do you ever use “fake” plants? I have only a few plants at the moment. I have a pothos hanging in my kitchen that is over 20 years old. It waxes and wanes but has survived well and has provided many cuttings that have become plants for my daughters. I am also very successful with African violets in my kitchen window - the environment must be perfect for them. I would like to get some larger plants for my living room, but they need to be plants that require less light and cooler temperatures. Thanks for sharing your "ladies" with us and your tips and tricks for keeping them healthy.

Thank you, Sherri! 🤍 they are a stunning plant and believe it or not, they are pretty easy to manage. I tried to stress it in this video, but I’ve found the biggest stressor on my plants to be over watering and pests. Most plants prefer to be under-watered (in my experience anyway) so as long as they have the right lighting and just a bit of love and attention, I know they will thrive in your beautiful home, too!

I only have aloe plants now. I had a peace lily for a long time but one day left it outside to drain and forgot it. I was gone for two days and when I returned she was a goner!! I live in AZ and it was summertime!!!! Hurt my heart! Your plants are gorge!!

WOW You really have a green thumb!!! I liked your points about drafts affecting the plant as well as how you clean the plant leaves. I am glad you brought up insects and bugs. I never even thought about that, but that would certainly affect the plant! Your plants are so beautiful and I had to chuckle some when you said your plant grew from 1 to 6 feet!!! That's a happy plant!!! Unfortunately because I own cats, I am limited to just hanging plants. Right now I just have a few ivy plants, a snake plant and 2 others that aren't doing so well. One is a cacti family and hard to read. The other is a very thin leaf plant that seems to be doing better now that I moved her to a sunnier spot. Thank you again for your video. I am going to clean the leaves of these plants and see what happens!

Love the peace lily I had to split mine it had grown so much and a bigger pot wasn't good enough. Ended up with 6 plants from the parent plant had to give some away which wasn't a problem everyone seems to love them. Perhaps you'll need to do the same for yours soon too 😍

What a great plant parent you are! It's obvious you take wonderful care of them. I look forward to Saturdays now to see what you're up to. Question: where did you buy all the matching planter pots? They look so chic ( and sturdy.) Did you know you have most of the Feng Shui lucky plants? The peace lily is good for the bedroom and purifies the air. I have a baby one now and can't wait for it to get as big as yours.

Hi Lori! I actually purchased them all (8 of them) in the small, medium, and large sizes from HomeGoods and HomeSense last summer when all the stores reopened in June. There were so many to choose from but unfortunately I am having trouble finding more this year 🥲 hoping they continue to roll more stock out in the coming weeks!

Your plants look so lively and healthy. You certainly do have a green thumb. The fertilizer that you use is the exact one I use for my plants as well . It’s very good . I recently discovered that Dollar Tree carries Jobe’s fertilizer sticks and I gave it a try. They work just as good as Miracle Grow.

I recently got a money tree and have had a rubber tree for ages. The rubber tree had stagnated growth so I chopped it back drastically and it seems happy.

Great info! You’re spot on on the Palm, Money Plant and White Bird of Paradise. I also mist mine daily and water only when absolutely needed. I also have Aloe, Pothos, and a Snake plant to balance the fullness of the wider leafy plants. The Pothos can grow in any light but my most temperamental has been the Money plant. It’s really loving just sitting in the corner with no direct sunlight. Go figure. My Snake plant and Bird of Paradise are being transplanted into larger pot next week.

Hi Beau...I think your thumb is greener than you think! Your plants look lush and healthy because of your awareness of your plant environs. (TLC more likely)! To see them thrive is more than gratifying its healthy too! However, I cringed when you had the palm outside! You're lucky...But I am a coward and did not bring my palm back (or any other plants) inside being afraid of infestation. Enjoyed your plant tour and will try some of your choices...keeping the plants inside of course!

Hey Beau, you have a beautiful plant collection the green really pops against your furnishings and accents. I am always looking on the Lowe's indoor plant discount rack for house plants. At times I will get lucky and find a very nice plant for between 5 and 7 dollars. Happy plant hunting and have a great weekend.

Nice looking plants. I live in South Florida, and all of your plants grow outside here. Hope you have high ceilings, the white bird of paradise will just keep growing, like a palm. If there is space it should produce new stems at the base, because I don't think it can be trimmed.

I always enjoy spending time with you! I just read recently that the plant tips turn brown if you use tap water. I have taken to filling a container and let it rest for a day or two before watering the plants.

Thank you, Ruth! I’ve found that like us, my plants have very distinct personalities-some as we’ve seen are needy, some dramatic, and others are a bit more independent and don’t require as much of my help 😂

My sister and I always say that we kill even plastic plants! However, I live now in an open concept house with windows all around. Having good luck! I have a couple of Peace Lillies and others (have no clue about the names) which are even flowering!
