Hello everyone! My name is Beau Alexander and in today's video, we are going to Goodwill and other thrift stores and thrift shops nearby in search of new and vintage luxury home decor accessories. I have a substantial thrift haul for you this week filled with aesthetic, unique, and affordable thrift finds that I cannot wait to show you! So many of you enjoy the minimalist, mid-century, art deco, post-modern, contemporary, and other retro vintage thrift finds I seek out. I try to keep these hauls budget-friendly and affordable...all the home decor items that I have purchased in this haul were incredibly affordable and inexpensive.

I'm an artist, oil painting, and I shop for picture frames in thrift stores. Usually the thrift art is not worth saving, tearing it apart and repurposing is satisfying, a variety of frames elevate my paintings with unique style.

Another group of well-curated thrift finds! I really liked the decanter and do think it is from the 70's. When you picked up the iron keys I thought to myself, "Is he really going to buy those? He'll have to spray paint them matt black. Oh, I guess they could look interesting as decor pieces." Well, you didn't buy them, but I think they COULD have looked interesting painted and styled on a shelf! I was sure you would paint the barley twist pedestal, but I was worried that it was vintage wood. Since it isn't, it will look SOO much better black! Again, thanks for taking me along as company while you shopped! Now that I am vaccinated, I hope to be out and about as well!

You are so talented at spotting the best stuff. Now, about that sauce boat... don't put hot gravey in it. I put hot gravey in one similar and it exploded. Crystal doesn't like hot stuff, sometimes glass doesn't like hot stuff either. Only pyrex is happy with high temps. I exploded a gorgeous Crystal bowl by spooning hot carrots in it one Easter. Use your sauce boat for salsa, guac, other cool sauces. Again, loved your thrifts, you have such a great eye.🙂

I grew up in a house full of antiques and my parents would go to estate sales and antique shops, even when we were on vacation (way before Ebay or other current vintage or antique sites), so I learned to appreciate wonderful finds like these. What great things you found! I don’t know where you live but you must have a great goodwill. Ours is abysmal, though occasionally I find something. They’ll stick high prices on newer junk, and then I’ll find some little older treasure stuck away, hiding behind something, for peanuts. It makes no sense. I love your marble s&p. And I smiled to see your rosé wine. I fell in love with that last summer, and I saved a couple of the bottles because they’re so pretty, and reusable. I thought I might use the bottom as a cookie press for rose shaped cookies. But I never got that energetic. And now I may use one to hold homemade Bailey’s Irish Cream, which I’m planning to make this week.

I get this inexpensive paint from Micheals like $2.50 for small bottle , you paint your ceramic or pottery items ( black of course ) then you let it dry for 3 days , then put it into preheated oven and It bakes on the paint to make it washable as spray painted items you can't really wash or it flakes off

A word to the wise: when you put salt into the shaker add a tablespoon of uncooked rice. Any moisture inside the space will ruin interior and will eventually corrode the stainless steel cover.
