Such a fantastic album and an iconic album cover. The building is actually 5 stories, but the picture was altered to fit the cover. Cool that the same building is used in the Stones video for “Waiting on a Friend”!!

DJ, Led Zeppelin is a one of a kind sound. They probably would have made more amazing sounds if John Bonham was still here.

An awesome song describing the venues they played at as "houses of the holy" because of the energy exchange between the performance and the audience; a communion of sorts. In addition, it has its sexual innuendoes as Robert sings of having a "golden sword" in his hand, ready to sow "seeds of love" in her "garden". Basically, it's "sex, drugs, and rock and roll" in a nutshell. However, I also hear a faint undercurrent of some sort of disillusionment/dissatisfaction creeping in the lyrics "there ain't no use in crying, it will only drive you mad. Does it hurt to hear them lying? Was this the only world you had?" Robert didn't often put much deeper introspection into his lyrics so I always thought these lines interesting.

That "grinding" guitar effect at the beginning and end is just so "sinister" I've NEVER heard anything like it since! You cant TOUCH Zeppelin!

"And., when the next song?" Well done DJ. 🤣 Not ALL hair metal bands sucked, there are a few diamonds in the ruff, but most did. DJ if this is your first " over all" intro to LZ then I'm happy to see your enjoying what you're hearing. I used to be the "if it ain't rock & roll, it's shit" type of guy, but over the course of years I got turned onto ALL kinds of music that 30/40 years ago I wouldn't have even bother with. Keep growing your musical horizons brother it'll be an enlightening journey.

i love watching DJ experiance the best ever band world wide, it will be a sad sad day when you run out of new Led Zeppelin songs but you could possably do some live songs and then to Jimmy Page & Robert Plant - "Unledded" 1994 concert and then you both can experiance some brillient australian 80's rock
