1:50 is that kerosene? I've seen this and other vids wherein stacks are soaked in a mystery liquid prior to heating for forge welding. I've seen a few articles that mention using kerosene - assume to prevent oxidation between layers; but nothing that has resonated an emphatic "yes". Maybe I'm crazy. Master of bladesmithing and YT videography, impressive!. I wondered at first why you ground the bevels on the full tang, but after seeing the finished handle I understand. That is a truly impressive finish, unlike anything I've seen before but it makes complete sense. I may or may not steal that aesthetic for a future knife handle. I'm admitting nothing to invesitgators or lawyers ;-)
