HPD does have a problem. A manpower shortage problem. There are individual HPD investigators/officers carrying over 200 cases. And the cases don't stop coming in. Offense reports (cases) are generated daily. And they get stacked on top of the already existing cases. The case load for HPD investigators/officers is ridiculous and has been for years. But no one cared or cares until it affects them.

They want him to resign because of an issue he brought to light that HPD has been doing for years. Last year, Chief finner told HPD commanders not to use a code to close out a case due to lack of personal. The HPD commanders continued to allow it. It's not the chiefs fault he is trying to change a wrong that HPD has been doing for years. As police chief, he is now in a position where he can make changes and is trying to do it. This is the HPOU going after the chief. It happened to other police cheifs. Thin Blue Line marfia is trying to play cover-up. The HPOU mob is what's running the police department. It's why no HPD officer wants to come forward and be a wistleblower.
