I'm looking forward to seeing a second unit lineup of Reed, Cam, Amen, Tari, and Steven Adams! Site hope we get to see those 5 together for significant minutes! If those 5 guys could cement themselves as our second unit I don't think there's another bench in the league that could keep up with us! IF, and that's a big IF still, we ascend up into that top 6 or higher in the West then it will be because of our depth! Our bench could be every bit as good as our starters and playing against thin benches from others teams they could absolutely FEAST!

I would have put Tari and Amen in the starting 5.

Our guys are growing. They look like young professionals who are ready to exceed expectations. They got a taste of what it's like to play under a great coach, and they look bought in. Now we have a healthy Jock Landale and Steven Adams to accompany Alpi. We might have the most depth at the 5.

Great pod Frank. I agree with your take on media day. I also notice Jabari looked to have put on some bulk and that may help him with physical players this year. Amen looked bulked up a little and said he has been working on ball handling and shooting. that's great news. everybody looked focused on the goal of playoffs and ready for the battles ahead.

This team is going to be so deep. That second unit is going to surprise some good teams. Tari, Reed, and Amen surrounding Steven Adams... dang, that's gonna roll. I do expect Jalen to find more consistency this season, something closer to what he pulled off after the allstar break last year. Random unrelated question for you, Frank... do I remember you saying in a video a year or two ago that you listen to classical music? As a fan of less commonly encountered musical styles like classical and jazz myself, that's not a burn at all. In fact, I see a lot of similarities between "flowing" sports (like basketball, soccer, and hockey) and classical and jazz music.

Yes I do .. not a wide range but I have my go to’s Classical: Chopin, Debussy mainly Jazz: Miles, Coltrane, Kamasi Washington

Man I'm excited for the season. I'm a firm believer that they'll all figure it out. My prediction is someday we'll look back at this team and be amazed of the roster we have. Also I'm predicting at least 48 wins.

After getting swept by the Tigers, I think collectively as fans we are coming to terms with the fact the Golden Era of Astros Baseball is coming to an end. The Rockets have always been my favorite Houston sports team though. If the Rockets can give me another NBA Finals Championship I can die a happy man. “Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion”, let’s go boys 🙏🏼🤘🏼🚀

Rockets are totally invested in Sengun and Jalen is playing for a contract is what I got out of the press conference. I’m excited to see Amen by the way everyone talks about him.
@ROCKETSCHOPSHOP2 ай бұрын
Not sure I read that, I think they are hopeful both players pan out.. best outcome given the contracts and CBA.. if you can lock up 2 core players on rookie scale max level salaries (if they earn it) for 5 years..
@Donald-f8f2 ай бұрын
@@ROCKETSCHOPSHOPthe reason why I say that is because Al p said there was talk and Jalen didn’t address it and didn’t want to talk about it. Also they sent coaches to turkey to work with him. It might be a reach but I got that feeling. If Al p makes the all star team would he qualify for a super max contract? With KAT gone his chances are a lot better.
