The issue is with Ime’s statement after the game about why he made sit Sengun for so long is absurd. Sengun was doing all the dirty work with Tari and Jabari, which is why the gap was closed in the 3rd quarter. Sengun always talks about "pace". You cannot just run and gun. Pace can only work with personnel who has a capacity to "react". Thats why GSW was once the best. Fred is %15 and Jalen is %16 from the 3 point line. This team needs an offensive coordinator, offence should be taken from his hands. Besides, please somebody explain if Sengun is not going to be a first option in, why you paid him $185M. Maybe Ime Udoka didn’t want to extend but, the front office, Stones and the team owner didn’t want to miss the opportunity. Even if he is going to slow the game down, that’s still better than “run and gun” with bad field goal percentages.

Your the first person that saw and thought exactly what i thought. I went back and rewatched the game and it confirmed exactly what i was thinking and what your saying. This was a Ime loss... they were out of gas. I knew it, everyone knew, but Ime was hoping Tari would bail them out. Alp was having a good game and Jalen not so much but they both should have been in the game at OT. Alp had better stats in 20 minutes than almost everyone else in the starting line up that had 37-40minutes. No structure, no identity, no game plan. This was a Ime problem.

One interesting thing I heard from Boston folks was that when Ime was the head coach. Will Hardy was the one that spearheaded the offensive side of the ball, so it seems that we really need to hire an offensive coaching assistant to help Ime.

@@jayware4219 I don't think we have official titles for the coaching staff, but I think the closest thing we have to one is Ben Sullivan. He seems to be the teams lead assistant coach, and shooting coach. He does replace Ime when he got thrown out for technicals.

Ime's Press Conference, last Night: " .. Gotta find a rhythm for sure. Whether it's getting himself into shape to play early season that might be part of it." .. I'm confused cuz the coaching staff went over to Turkey & spent part of the summer working on Sengun's Game .. and I saw hella clips of Alpi working out, this summer .. Now he's "out of shape ??" 🤔🤔🤔🤔

thanks for calling out Ime finally! here i paste my comment on the first game against hornets : "I blame Ime for the offense. This team needs at least two offense sets other than P&R tailored for each individuals' qualities. It should be known by each member deeply with opponent responses and counter responses. I cannot even judge if Jabari is a good player or not because he has no role in the team to my eyes in offense other than catch and shoot. Ime needs to get support if he doenst have that vision for offense otherwise this team will struggle a lot." I can easily write this in first game because, you have to do this kind of structure in off season. I felt the same last year but after seeing Jalen doesn't know P&R i stopped there(He can do it now and other stuff). But this year there is no excuse. Ime needs to get his shit together. He is getting hate by alp too.

I think before last season starts, we all expect Alpi is not going be main weapon or main focus of the team because of Ime's style. So does front office and Ime aswell, they try to bring Lopez. Alpi starts hot with Fvv and we ride the 2 man game and his post play. Also JG was playing really awfull proves Alpi's position. However with 10 game sample size they saw something. Which I believe more than just beating lottery teams but vision they are having before bringing Ime. They have to sign with Alpi even they don't believe his talent but they don't wanna look stupid and let him walk away or sign max with him. He will eventually leave Rockets cause I don't believe front office give up on Ime near future. I get it his playstyle is unique and if you don't build around him, he will be liability. I don't have any other explanation cause they are damaging both Alpi's value and team's performance. I hope if they make a move, they do it quick and benefits both sides.

Great points by you as usual! But i wont be that nice to them. - Jalen is generally doing okay so far , i don't wanna bash him over for a one bad day. Lets see upcoming matches. - Ime, personally you are not a coach , you are just a clown. Always unfair to your players. Same bs as Silas in past. Regardless how bad jalen plays he was always getting most times to play , for you its Fred now. I know even if he plays 0-20 he still gonna have 35mins+. - How do you expect young players to improve when they know , what ever they do they will be benched whatsoever. Reed played 7mins. Cam played 5mins. Fred 40 Jalen 34? ok - What more Tari and Amen should do to deserve starting lineup ? - Did you guys see Alpy's face last moments? He wasnt happy with ime. Thats not the way of motivating your best player. Are we gonna waste another year and no play offs again?

The reaction vs. action thing, I agree he doesn’t have a philosophy but he has an ideal, I think he wants to be that team that can beat everyone at their game. And defensively I think we mostly have the guys to do that…rim protection being the weakness…and I can understand wanting that. Imo coaches generally fall into one of two types, the ones who want to dictate and the type that wants to be impervious to the other team’s attempts to dictate. And we’ll see how he gets there, I get your concerns though, and I agree this was a coaching loss. Fred’s really off to a slow start, but everything I’ve been hearing all off-season he’s damn near an assistant coach now, so that gets tricky. Jalen I’m ok letting him roll with it, Alpi I think the issue is that I don’t think he is fundamentally an Ime type of player, not saying he doesn’t respect his game, just I think his ideal 5 is a defensive presence first and foremost. Brooks is a culture move, I think Ime does anticipate replacing him in the starting 5, but I think he wants that to be a kind of graduation and we aren’t near that yet. Jabari is maybe the biggest puzzle this season, I don’t know what to think yet. Love your content, man. You talk like a coach.

FVV Has been absolutly horrible this year for a player in a contract year he's tanking badly. I don't even want him on the the team much less making 46 mill. And wanting a extension. He would be gone at the first opportunity too trade him for me for any serviceable PG in the league would as well or better he shoots us out of games single handedly. It's no help when nobody else is there to puck up the slack. I would fire the shooting coach immediately as I've seen high school teams that could shoot better than this team. It's unforgivable the crappy shooting these so called pros are chucking up. Thier young but should be able to make fundamental shoots these young players are all across acrobatic fancy moves but can't hit mid range jumpers and free throws consistently. GARBAGE! MAD AS HELL! 19:48

Quit shooting so many threes it's destroying our chances at winning we are not and will not be a three point shooting team any time soon. There are no good shooters on this team right now and the staff is in denial.work on more fundamental higher % shots and and shut down the brick factory this team is they start slow and try to chunk up threes to catch up and just kill themselves in the process. Focus on your strengths and quit trying to be the Celtics. Your no where near that level yet. Team had potential but it's not being developed properly. The Coach is playing them like vets and thier not. The vets on the teams have also played like dog crap this year . Time for rooster moves and trades this team is heading nowhere as designed. Pg situation is and truthfully has been abissmal. Need anew starting point guard who can shoot better than 40% and it's never been Fvv!

This team has no offensive scheme plain and simple it doesn’t help that Sengun and Fred has been bad to start the season but we aren’t going to get anywhere if this team has no offense. It’s too early to give up on Ime but we are seeing that he just not an offensive coach and we need a coordinator and he also stubborn on certain things. Fred should have never came back in the game he should have let Reed and Holiday in there. If he did that we might have won that game If you’re going to bench players for being bad Fred should not be the expection. With that said Tari Eason had his best game of his career he a hooper man and you need those types of guys on your team. Amen was a force on both ends especially with his ball pressure of getting to the rim Jabari was showing how he can be a great 3 and D wing he was excellent last night Regardless we were inconsistent once again we can’t be inconsistent like this. Not many teams could have done that, even in this era. I say be a little more patient with your coach. Kerr screwed up his lineup and schemes all of last season and barely was ahead of Houston going in to post season. Ute may need more help as well. I don't know.

Udoka isnt perfect, but he is what we need for this team. He just needs a offensive coach

I think Sengun can have a role and contribute on this team. Like I have told frank since last year, Sengun should play 20-25 minutes. Sengun style shouldn’t be the identity of the team. Starting 5 should be… Amen, Green, Brooks, Tari, Bari… when games slow down or if the matchup is favorable, let Alp do his thang.. But even i would have played Sengun in OT

@inasty16 I don't think Sengun will ever be an All Star, but the League doesn't have too many Big Men with Alpi's skill set. I'm just hoping Alpi gets it together sooner rather than later

@inasty16 how exactly did he struggle? He sat down in Q2 and Q4 and OT. When he did play in Q3, they cut the lead to 15 pts. He finished the game with 14 pts, 10 rebounds and 4 assists, although he played only 20 mins in total.

@@mckurtify Alpi is no where near dominating like he did (at this point) last year & earned him the Big Money contract. Last year, we thought Alpi was a near-All Star player, and the coaching staff spent considerable time this summer trying to develop his game .. If You listen to Ime's Press Conferences, he is clearly disappointed in Alpi's Game & is attributing it to "[Alpii] getting himself into shape to play early season" .. Ime is making it sound like Sengun's conditioning is Not up to par right now (which makes no sense) .. Alpi Needs to be finishing games & he IS Not. Alpi did not play AT ALL during the overtime.
