I worked for Hovertravel for five weeks in the summer of 1971 as a holiday job after my O levels. I was found accommodation in the staff quarters of the Royal Esplanade Hotel. I spent five weeks loading baggage and checking tickets on the SRN6s in use at the time. Pleased to see Hovertravel are still operating.

I love Hovercraft! On holidays in Britain, I watched it from the Royal Esplanade , but I did not used it - unfortunately. Love from Germany

I love the hover. I first travelled on it in the 70s with only 2 seats each side and the pilot in with us too 😎
