Blame it on Dara & Tony's team. And all the legislators that don't know the difference between an employee and independent contractor and the FACT that Uber is the largest CAB company in the world using an app as a dispatcher instead of a landline. Same trip different day.

Yes they are. Uber eats offers have become simply laughable. And most rides over 8-10 miles aren't worth it, either. Riders are paying more and drivers continually make less of the cut. Only one winning is ..... Neither of the above.

HOVR is a much needed service in Toronto. Uber does nothing but mentally abuse driver, don't pay good, steal drivers tips and 0 transparency, cause they don't want driver really knowing how bad they screw us. We are driving blind, can't see how much we are making, can't see where we are going. We constantly being threatened and punished. Uber is truly immoral and disgusting company. I picked business cards from HOVR and i hand it out to every single passenger i pick up on Uber and lyft. I make sure to let passengers know my dissatisfaction with Uber and lyft and let them know HOVR treats drivers 1000% time better!

HOVR insurance covers drivers. Same as Uber and Lyft.

because they have less take. example, Uber/Lyft rider pay $100 for 50 miles ride, driver makes $50 for the ride because they claim they keep $50 for commercial insurance and expenses for running the company. Under these new company systems, riders pay $90 for such ride, and drivers get pay $80, $10 goes into commercial insurance and expenses (such as state/local licenses/fees), or some would charge a monthly fee rate to use their services instead. These companies charges less because they did not spent tens of billions of investor dollars on failed AI cars to "grow" their market, or paid billions to lobby laws, litigation lawsuit settlements for trying to scam drivers and paid even more for assaults due to lack of background checks on drivers/riders and allowing anybody and everybody to drive and be a pax because they need to show massive numbers of subscribers to their shareholders.

Uber is taking about 70 percent and drivers only 30. It’s just not fair what Uber is doing to their drivers. Ask the riders how much they are paying for the ride and you’ll see what I mean. I think the government should step in

I live in Toronto and to be honest drivers pay $20 monthly and no single ride every month No driver support no email return if you're in problem nobody to assist you. Crapy bissnes and scam. He keeps collecting 20 monthly from drivers with no rides. BS. Don't fool people. Driver keeps 100% or minus 120%. NO ONE should drive for HOVR

Travis wasn't any better, either. Yes the pay was definitely better in the beginning, but it was easier to get deactivated, even temporarily, for BS reasons. Like if a rider didn't like a route you took or if one of your wipers was a little frayed. Next thing you know you wouldn't be able to sign on and it would be like pulling teeth to get a hold of someone and find out what the problem was.

Never trust rideshare companies. When they are new, they seem nice, but after a few years, they become greedy. The best way for a driver to make money is by doing your own private rides without any middlemen. That's what I'm doing now
