Have you ever done business? The first thing anybody wants is the quickest return on their investment. A solar power plant costing millions to build is not really attractive to investors especially when you compare it to the sphere which has unlimited potential for advertising and costly events Only a fool would build the power plant first. Yes you could argue about the carbon footprint of it all but do you really think the people who built this cared about it?

It's a fcking an entertainment venue just like any other. I don't know how poor you are, but most people can afford a $200 concert ticket. As for it being a waste of time money and power well.... 1.
