Just a small thing from the 6v6 community. We 100% wanted to do more like change Suzu, Lamp, Illari pylon, ETC but the workshop has a lot of limitations. Best thing we can do as a community is ask for more workshop power & support! Also the ranks from the balance team for the 6v6 mode ranges from diamond to master & one gm.

Yep if they were able do this it’d be flawless: rework lamp, suzu, grip, pylon, and inspire. When those are address the degeneracy people think is inherent to 6v6 and OW will go away. Oh and also the bullet sizes need to be changed back too. I guess also the hp is % based so they can’t be super precise with it so that would be nice as well. It’s actually crazy how many limitations are on the workshop that they can’t change but they still managed to balance it better than Blizzard ever did, and that’s with all the new OW2 heroes in 6v6 which they didn’t have a template for either! Amazing work.

Tbh I have no idea why devs are so bad/cowardly in balancing, like everybody hates snipers? ARMOR CHANGES NOW MAKES SNIPERS EVEN BETTER. A character has problematic abilities/y (hog, mauga, orisa) NERF THEM INTO THE GROUND. Tanking feels awful because of counterpicking? MAKE EVERY TANK STRONGER SO EVERY COUNTER IS AUTOMATICALLY STRONGER XDDD. Blizzard, hire me, I will do random sh** but it still will be more than what ur devs do

I played in the 6v6 code in a Kick Tournament on Saturday me Luka GIFTED1K and One_Hook I had a blast man and then it ended and it was back to 5v5 and I cry everytime

Its frustrating how incompetent the devs are but i think it has to be more to this, like the brain drain from the layoffs of the new people not having the knowledge of a more experienced team or even higher ups blocking sensible choices. Its just hard for me to belive people who are supposed to know this game well, who are paid to do it cant can dedicate their entire time are so ridiculously stupid, its not even about listening to the community its like they dont play the game

i mean, doing a better job than someone completely incompetent who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near balancing whiteboard isn't that crazy. It's just an ego thing with blizzard devs. It effects all their games negatively. They think they know better than the people who play their games so they ignore, do whatever they want, and make the game bad. The reality is people who play overwatch for thousands of hours are going to know how to balance the game better than people who work in an office all day. The devs have talent, they just need to realize where their talent actually lies and realize that the community is an incredibly valuable resource. Developers who have had this epiphany, understand that their community is going to understand certain things better than them and they use it as a valuable resource, work closely with the community and make their game incredible. Blizzard devs just think they are better at everything so they ignore the community and make bad game.
