At Maison Bordier in Saint Malo, France, 350 tons of butter are churned, kneaded, and shaped by hand every year. On an average day, the butter workshop shapes around 20,000 mini butters and makes 300 to 400 customized butters for restaurants.
We visited its workshop to see how it makes these butters in such big batches.

Restaurants always seem to have good butter, wish I could get it at the store. Kerrygold is the best I've been able to find, but still isn't as good. The regular store brands are all completely bland, taste like vegetable oil more than butter.

Have you guys ever considered doing a native language version of these wonderful clips? Frankly I can understand French very well so I mean it kind of nice to actually hear it in the actual language of the people that you are profiling. Ask anyone who knows another language sometimes it rather distracts having the translation over top of the audio when you can just listen to the actual audio itself in the native language. 😊

@RobertSmith-up9rz

You mean the exact opposite. Butter is very expensive compared to other fattening ingredients which are terrible for your health. And butter, in reasonable amount of course, has been researched and shown to be actually good for you, along with being sooooooo good.

@yegfreethinker
@yegfreethinker 9 ай бұрын
Have you ever heard of handwashing? Gloves often give a false sense of security. In many jurisdictions it's perfectly permissible to use one's bare hands so long as those hands are sanitized to the standard protocol for hand washing of that jurisdiction so long as one's hands are free of any cuts or other open wounds. It's perfectly safe.

There are SO MANY restrictions in Europe and especially in France where you have to comply with security protocols that includes hygiene when you are making edibles. That is #1 priority. You don't see it here but for every batch, a sample is taken for analysis.

Christ is the Truth, the bread of life, accept Him & everything that is good & holy comes after accepting Him - butter isn’t good without bread! When we invest in people with The Lord, we invest in our spiritual future. (Investing in the stock market or ‘crypto’ currencies will only lead the way for the antichrist to setup their fully traceable digital mark of the beast system).
