If it’s in ratchet shift mode will I be able to move the shifter all the way to park without it actually shifting.. not sure if that makes sense. But mines stuck in drive. I can move shifter from drive to neutral to reverse and park and it’s stays in drive. I had to shut it off in drive and just put blocks on the tires so it doesn’t roll

@@LAKERAT_YTI still don't know what year the unit in the video was but i found that older B&M Quicksilver shifters cannot be converted or used as a 4-speed. Newer versions have a pin that can be removed to convert it from a 3-speed to a 4-speed. My solution was to buy a new one.

Damn dude, I just got an 85 el camino with this shifter in it. I also have a cutlass but its just a low mileage 93.... nothing special. Just know that your olds would dust my el camino though lol

I have the worst luck with these shifters. when there working there great I think there the best easiest to use shifter out there. they seem to wear out rather quick and get sloppy and some of the internal parts are fragile so they bend.

you have it set up in 4 speed not 3 get a manual and read it mite help
