Anytime I've watched a mother give birth, whether human or animal, I get this almost overwhelming sense of awe. No matter how many times I've witnessed it, that feeling never diminishes. This video was no exception. This was so beautiful and the births underwater look so peaceful. Watching the newborns immediately start swimming and then the closeness and care from the mother whales just fills my heart for real. However, noticing the Orca was in captivity shattered my heart. Knowing that newborn will be taken away from it's mother much too soon and probably never know the freedom of the open ocean. We need to stop kidnapping these animals for our own amusement. It SICKENS me.
