Vaults are usually on using a hiljoy. Pipes for rollers its rolled on squared up and once the cable are done. You are able to pull out your rollers and middle planks. This creates the opening for the vault and preps it for base lid separation.

I always wondered why funeral homes make everyone leave before the casket is lowered… I’m glad you allow the families more time to see their family members one last time..

Going to my great-grandmother’s funeral tomorrow and this is just beautiful

My father was a “jack of all trades” in the funeral business (worked for a family business , helped the family out and got a job there when he left his old job at the time) gotta say the more I see, the more I realise how much of a beautiful role he played in after life care, when he was working there he’d come home in the afternoons and tell me about his day and what he did (even told me about body prep for caskets and for the crem, and when he’d pick up passed ones from houses…who already had their will and funeral pre planed with morleys funerals) mind you I was 14-16 when he worked there. I already had huge respect to those who passionately worked in the funeral industry, but these vids on yt got me giving my heart to y’all.

I worked in a remote fishing village in Alaska. I’ve used broken pallets to build a coffin. When the ice sheets come in during the winter they beat the face of the dock and shore line. The cemetery eroded and we got called in 3 months early to recover remains. Couldn’t imagine trying to save a 5k lb casket. God bless your work
