What a delightful man your Dad is. Your whole family seems to be very loving.

I love your dad so much. I'm a retired chef and still he finds things to teach me! That (for me) is the very definition of riches. Your entire family is delightful. Thank you for sharing all of this with us.💜

I love chives but the American grocery stores don't usually sell it. This dish is cheap & easy to make, taste delicious and full of nutrition. ❤

I think green onions would be a decent substitute.

Watching this with my dad. He’s enjoying your videos! P.s. your dad mentioned bittermelon. Can we get a bittermelon video?! I know I know, blechhhh, but it grows on you as you get older 😅

Yup, this is how Mom taught me to crack eggs. Crack them into a bowl and then put them into the main bowl. I'm usually too lazy to do it this way though lmao

To test if the eggs are fresh, just put them in a bowl with water. If they lay on the bottom they are fresh. If one side flows up it’s not good anymore!

Would this be considered "fusion"? I kind of feel like scrambled eggs are so basic that no one can really claim them... but I've been told several times otherwise that it seems like a lot of people outside the us consider it more "American", especially if served at breakfast. Also discovering the history of different foods and how a lot of our modern recipes are in fact modern because the tools and situations lead them to be modern (but I mean how old is a pan or a wok and some chopsticks or a fork? That habes pretty ancient right?). That's not the point that I mean though! What I really want to know if we are going to start get more fusion takes on recipes from your dad or even traditional american recipes, like his take on a burger or some kind of italian pasta! Maybe some different or even traditional to your family take on Turkey! It sounds so fun and exciting 🤩🤩

Spring onions are round and hollow, these chives are flat and look like grass.
