There was no voyager there and I assume it was just as easy to send a class 57 which is specially designed for the job, thanks for the comment, hope this helped!

Apparently, it was the Travelling Post office, where they sorted the mail ceased in 2004. The current mail train is just carrying mail no sorting

"Proper trains" I get they might not be great and they have a lot of flaws, but how is a three and three quarter thousand horsepower high speed DEMU not a "proper train"?

Because the said class is manufactured from recycled washing machines and Vauxhall Corsa,s, only crumb of coolness they have is those Clessie Cummins QSK engines. It is an insult to Cummins in having one of the coolest diesels power a string of f------g Candy washing machines. A proper train!!! a HOOVER an EE Class 50 with a rake of Mark Three Coaches. @@Danse_Macabre_125

Because its is far easier for train manufacturers and beneficial to the planet to recycle cast off Zanussi and Candy washing machines bought from Currys and Euronics into new trains. I am not puzzled, the guy is right, bring back the old Hoovers with a rake of Mark Three Coaches.

Tbh I’m not 100% sure, 57309 was already on the way from Crewe though before 57308 was stood down so maybe 309 was there to replace 308 as Carlisles thunderbird but instead they decided it would just be easier to use 57309 and leave 308 at Carlisle? Not 100% sure though! Thanks for the comment!!

No Description, as to why that 221 piece of junk broke down yet it moved under it's own power, Good video though

The reason there is no description is because I don’t know what was wrong with the 221, I put broken down because I assume that it must’ve had a fault which was stopping it from moving very far under its own power, otherwise there would have been no need to bring in the thunderbird, thanks for the comment!

A master class in how to remove crap from a railway line, use a Tampax Extractor a Brush Class 57 with special couplings designed to tow a Galloping Tampax should it expire ,yes cats&kittens a Pendolino, as its shape resembles a Tampax Tampon bought from Boots the chemist. Coupled said Extractor to the string of recycled Candy washing machines, er Class 221 and tow to the nearest boneyard.
