It's August in my zone 3 cut flower garden, and the place is bursting with abundance. We'll harvest, make a wrap bouquets, and I'll chat about how I'm managing balancing being a Mom of 4, Content Creator and Flower Farmer, as well as how business is different in 2023.

I am astonished that you can do anything at all with so many things and persons needing your attention. You're right, as tough times come, people have to make tough choices and prioritize, cut corners and make do. You're wise enough to have made decision to devote your time to your family, children grow fast (although it sometimes doesn't feel like that) and your love, care and attention is simply indispensable. Take care and get well soon:)))

Good to see you, Kristen. Sorry you have a cold. First year is tough….baby and family come first. Next year will be better. Financial situation across the world is worrisome. Hopefully things will level off for us. I’m surprised more brides aren’t doing their own flowers. It’s just too much of an expense for many. Centerpieces only is not a bad thing….way less stress for you. Good you have some help. Bells of Ireland look really good this year. Sending love and hugs to all of you. 😊💕🦋🕊

I tried gladiolas for the first time this year just for myself. I had gotten a bag of corms from Aldi just for fun and planted them in a long pot at the beginning of May (I'm in MN). I couldn't believe they all bloomed in August!

We live on the other side of the world and experiencing much the same with cost of living going up. Flowers are now a luxury. Fortunately I just sell from my home garden, but I feel for flower farmers. Also weather patterns changing. Love your videos ❤

Your still my hero for being a mom, wife, and cut flower grower and business person. Hope you feel better soon. One question, is that broom corn you had as one of the grasses? The other was frosted explosion grass?

Your dress is so ka-Ute! I have not had success with glads everyone says they are easy, I have not found it so... Year 1: (last year) all rotted.. 😢 Year 2:(this year) they grew but less than a third of the 30 corms bloomed. I got green shoots, they all seemed to grow great, only 3 rotted.. but I saw the few that bloomed had thrips! 😢

You inspire me to plant, arrange and enjoy my flowers! An important person that needs to be your priority - you! I’m glad you found help and support this summer. Just a reminder- please video the Dalias and tell us how they did. It will be a burst of sunshine to see the video this fall/winter. Looking forward to your KZbin content as the growing slows and the kids get back to school. Which bouquet sold first? I don’t know how I would choose!

OK first of all my daughter (and me 25 years ago) would LOVE the amaranth in the bouquet. But we are “artsy”.

Can you tell me what greens you like to plant for filler? Particularly the grassy/fern like filler at 4:48 and the seeded greens at 5:09 in the video. They are lovely
