If u try this in real life be aware that spring is not easy to pull back even using the serrations, by trying this you would be grabibg where the the slide is smooth and your most likely going to get shot when trying it

You can push back the slide easier because their is resistance from that assailant and it cannot fire even with the slightest push against the slide because it deactivates the trigger.

You don’t even have to have the slide pulled back like that. It only has to be pushed back ever so slightly and it will not fire. See this happen often when officers get attacked by a perp and when they put the gun against them it doesn’t fire

NO SIR JASON 1- The pistol will go back into battery or it may not come out of battery during a disarm, a defender must have a operational firearm to increase their survivability. Pushing the magazine release is a fine motor skill that will not happen in high stress conditions.

All striker fired semi autos have the disadvantage of "if someone pushes your slide back a quarter of an inch it won't fire. That's why I like my CZ 75B hammer fired pistol.
