I've watched a lot of your videos and you seem like a nice guy and I wish you well. Honestly, I do not agree with some of the things you say or do (such as lengthened partials, doing sets and taking long breaks) but you seem to mean well. My best advice is this, use common sense and think before stating your beliefs. Just because some of the latest Science might suggest a certain thing, it doesn't mean those findings are set in stone. We dont know the variables used for the studies or that the findings are accurately reported, especially if someone has an agenda

I appreciate the kind words and your support in watching my channel. I want to add something to this long length Partials conversation. The research I originally looked at didn't disregard full-length reps. In fact it did say something like full length reps still play a significant role. The lengthen Partials only performed better when looking at hypertrophy, not strength. I would hypothesize that the Partials yield the most hypertrophy due to increased time under tension, leading to a greater inflammatory response in the muscle. It's the difference in the type of hypertrophy, myofibrillar or sarcoplasmic. Myofibrillar would certainly not be the component that grows. This is the actual contractile component of the muscle. Sarcoplasmic hypertrophy is the growth in the intra cellular fluid surrounding the myofibrillar. This grows more in body builders and In have a video i did on strength vs. esthetics i explains this, or it might be in my hypertrophy science video. But we could probably agree on which form of hypertrophy is better (myofibrillar). This is my guess that these Partials are just more conducive to sarcoplasmic hypertrophy.

I get that we are talking about strictly hypertrophy here, but I don't believe partial reps will increase my Sacroplasma more than full reps, you can maintain continued TUT by cutting off last 10% of each rep but to cut off half the rep to me is foolish. Obviously cutting half a rep off will not help Myofibrills, strength, at all. I know all about the inner workings of the muscle, the differences in powerlifting and bodybuilding, and how muscles react to training. I've studied, worked out, and researched everything there is to know about lifting weights to get big and strong. It was just a hobby of mine. The deal is I'm not gonna change your mind and you're not changing mine so we just disagree. Good Luck with your Channel, I believe you got a winner I was just saying don't believe everything you hear or read as most people have agendas and will say anything for money. Take Care
