Has any of it been truly proven? I feel like this is the best “apology” video ever. She did smartly what she should do: do not apologize and stand up for yourself. And lovingly ironic at it. She has every right to defend herself and stand up to cancel culture. I think it’s great but that’s just me I guess

Of course, Colleen tries to twist it into being cowardly instead.

Like?! Are you sure that's the route you want to take?!

The most sinister thing about her song. Is it's geared towards her younger audience. Most kids aren't going to look into the whole drama, they probably are just fans of hers, and will take her word for truth. She made this song with the intention of misleading her younger viewers. As sort of a way to deflect and pretend like it's all lies,her younger viewers will buy it and not question if it's true or not. It's sickening to think about. No adult would write a catchy song to sing to outraged adults. She's doing it for her younger viewers.
@jayfranke

I think it's also got the bonus effect of getting people talking about the song and not her actions. This and cinnamontoastken are the only vids I've watched of it and they both mention her abusing the kids, but I see comments that are saying how cringe the song is and not mentioning the kids at all
@scray00
@scray00 Жыл бұрын
People saying how cringe this is already know the back story. The best part of this stupid fn song is that everyone is singing it. I was in the kitchen and my youngest was like wtf are you singing? So I went on to tell the whole story and watched this train wreck with her. So EVEN MORE people that had no idea what was going on are now being exposed to it from this song. It’s absolutely perfect 😂 millions more people will now be researching and seeing all the videos on what she’s accused of. I absolutely love it. I hope her career burns to the ground. Again in true narc form she just couldn’t be out of control of the narrative and couldn’t follow advice to keep her mouth shut. This doesn’t help the victims get their apology, but they were never going to get one from her. I mean does this look like someone who’s sorry?? She’s seething not sorry. Forgot to say her vid comments are filled with adults “oh Colleen I love you and don’t care what you did in your past” 🤢 mothers talking about how much she helped them. You have to remember she did this on her vlog channel not her main channels.

I can’t believe one staple of her character was being mole$ted by her uncle wasn’t a large enough warning sign. That trauma isn’t funny and to trivialise it like that is wild, especially when this is a fictional character and that staple that didn’t need be involved AND was used as a joke when children were her primary audience. It was a joke for the adults that naturally wouldn’t land for her child audience, who would then make the same jokes. God forbid some of them were experiencing that and their fav influencer making jokes may have made them think it was an okay thing, Miranda gets it and she’s still ‘FunNy’

a mistake: sending lingerie to a fan, not knowing they were underage, then apologizing or accidentally making an innuendo one or two times in a video not a mistake: over 15 years repeatedly making innuendos, talking about her fans private personal details about their bodies etc, using them for free labor and then as a scapegoat, telling underage fans to dress provocatively and getting them to do gross acts onstage.... its wild to me how she keeps saying "a mistake" and the only thing she mentioned was Becky's video. like anything in that could be a mistake when it was a PLANNED show and when Adam's claims are what kicked this off...

something Logan from Observe pointed out and I wanna expand on--her tone is overall condescending, like a teacher talking down to children. Which is likely intentional manipulation to the few people too young or gaslit in her audience who believe her. It strikes me that shes SCOLDING people for daring to believe her victims, that this is likely a tone she uses with her own child and only gives more weight to Adam's story, and giving more weight to Adam means other victims stories are true too. And she also displays the narcissistic NEED to have the last word, and set herself up to play victim when anyone else responds (as Adam's done). I dont know what her endgame is for making it a song and then proceeding to play victim for 10 minutes, but I think partof it is to get everyone talking about how absurd it is, rather than the claims of her victims. Luckily, thats not happening. She essentially just confirmed yes, she does have narcissistic behaviors, yes she displays abusive gaslighting tactics, and yes shes trying to sidestep accusations that have written and video PROOF. Colleen Ballinger, whether she has NPD or not, is a child predator and abuser.

I've had personal experiences with a narcissist as well and it's beyond frustrating to deal with someone who is absolutely convinced they are NOT in the wrong and won't even be willing to TRY and be a better person because everyone's opinion of them won't change anyways so they'll do whatever they want.

I don’t know if it’s the musician in me, but… part of her manipulation is weaponizing her actual talent as a musician, showing off through her performance. Musicians always do this in music and the nurturing of the cult of the persona to sell themselves to more people. By showing that she is actually a talented person (often the first attack against content creators), she’s trying to delegitimize attacks on her person-which she in particular has tried to morph with her online persona (see Lana Del Rey as an example). Basically an appeal through exceptionalism

I’m a narcissist facing what was narcissism in my own actions. My mom and older sister were narcissists in my life and I in turn was one as well. I have gone over in specific detail how wrong I was, the jobs I ruined and the people I alienated. I’ve fully recognized what I did and accept that my narcissism harmed many. Manipulation station? Let’s talk about that.. the soft filter to make herself look younger, the downward camera angle to make herself appear smaller, her not wearing any makeup trying to appear authentic, her whole entire “apology” video is manipulation station. And ironic that the only time she actually said she was sorry was her saying “I know you wanted me to say I was 100% in the wrong. Well I’m sorry I’m not gonna take that route admitting to lies and rumors you made up for clout” 😂 lol that’s the only time she’s been funny and she didn’t even try. she just doesn’t get it. At all.

everything I judged her on came from her own mouth on her own platform. As a mother of a teen, it not only concerns me as a mother (what she’s done to kids is appalling, and she continues to blame them). It also worries me that she’s raising children. Especially, considering their ages and the way she admits having no control over her anger, she destroys things and takes out her anger on animals and when they defended themselves, she lied about it to the point they were killed to protect her lies. She has a history of lying to protect herself from criticism to the point that her victims are blamed and suffer the consequences. Colleen: Get help. Please.

Her line "im not a groomer, im just a looser." Is also a manipulative tactic, its meant to provoke People's (mainly children's) empathy into thinking she couldn't do anything wrong shes X Y and Z aka victimizing herself. I've experienced having that "im a looser/im a bad person." thrown at me before and it may seem like a harmless off handed thing, but it does mess with a person a lot, especially if they're young

1. I did not realize it's my responsibility to decide what was appropriate for kids to see... Um yes, she is her demographic is minors she is a public figure. her job is to be appropriate for kids if her fans are mostly children. 2. she didn't listen to her team because she can't sit by and not speak. it's likely her team will drop her because what's the point for working for someone who doesn't listen to your professional advice. 3. she's constantly deflecting. she tells us what she knows we will call her (massive manipulative tactic) 4.she's constantly Trys and lesser her actions to a mistake. we all do make mistakes, but some mistakes are beyond a mistake. especially when the victims are easily manipulated by people they idolize. even before finding this video. red flags went off big time as a gamer who's seen predatory behavior from adults online. it gives me the ick . from the 18yo posting adult content in a kids game server on a discord server to the 35 yo on sending pics to a 15yo & the 21 yo bullying a 13 yo boy over a game. its honestly sickening her behavior and lack of accountability. saying she takes accountability when she refuses to acknowledged her behavior is just sick

I enjoyed reading thia comment section because everyone had some really good points. What stuck out to me is when she said "in all seriousness" (while talking about accountability) which in my eyes is similar to "all jokes aside". Saying that to me just confirmed what everyone is sayingーshe isn't taking this seriously at all. She doesn't care about the negative impact she had on those she hurt (along with believing she doesn't need to apologize while victimizing herself). Those poor kids.
