I'm trying to fix my unit after a packrat set up home. One flaw with this unit is there is an opening at the water manifold that allows rats and mice to get it in. They chewed up the wires and the plastic tubes are completely gone. This video helped me determine my next steps to try to repair it.

When my heater is not heating, the water temp shows about 10 degrees below what I know the temp in the pool is, what causes this?

hey carlos. Our pool has been remodeled about seven years ago.Two months ago our pool had a leak.Padilla pools was the contractor who remodeled our pool and also upgraded all of our equipment.We have the Pentair EasyTouch system.After they left about a month ago we found where the leak was coming from.And we got that repaired through them.But after they left our pool does not want to go through filtration through pool mode. I did a self diagnostic test on the system. My printer system is showing a code 14. Every time I hit the F button for the filtration on the panel.My pumps do not want to turn on.But as soon as I switch it to the spa they work fine. But in pool mode doesn't work it gives me a Delay code and the pumps just don't respond.But when I put the system in service mode with our printer variable speed pumps and I hit the pump manually it works fine.Can you explain to me what code 14 is.I've already talk to a pool maintenance guy he says that's a very rare code. He has no idea I have to pentair customer service and I would like to have help with this.And the customer service representative seems stupid to me what's your input.

If I’m following right by what you said. It almost sounds like either a glitch happened, or someone accidentally went into the settings and changed functions of the system. It’s not going to be a relay because it’s one relay that gives the power to the pump for pool mode or spa mode. Ild be willing to bet about anything settings/ functions have been messed up in the menu one way or another. And the system knows what kinda lights you have it still knows how to turn APS blowers on it still knows how to turn heater on for spa mode ect. The only thing it seems to be lacking is running the pump for pool mode? Would love to hear back if u see this. I’m betting on a setting. Anytime I’ve changed boards it’s either completely blacked out or nothing is working on it. As in not clicking any relays. Or maybe the screen being out. But what it sounds like is the settings got screwed. Though I guess u could of had someone that didn’t look there say the board is bad and replaced an reprogrammed it or someone looked into it an re set it back up

Carlos, are you still monitoring this video and replying to questions? My four year old and still internally clean heater says it’s heating and the orange light flashes slowly, but doesn’t start and after a couple minutes I get the “service heater” error. None of the error code lights come on, but a light at the opposite side bottom corner, labeled 11037, comes on and I can’t find any reference to it anywhere. Please help, thanks!
