I was a huge fan of Aaliyah and dressed like her when I was in high school, even had my then long hair styled like her. I took her untimely death so hard when I watched MTV at work and broke the news of her death, I cried on my way home from work. Six years after her death I was pregnant with my first child with my husband and hoping it'll be a girl so I can name her Aaliyah and my wish came true and now my Aaliyah is 13 years old.
