i was trying relaxation btreathing in 1:2 ratio as a result to force my inhales and exhales, didnt allow me to relax and had my mind always to keep the breaths on right time e.g 4 sec inhale. Found out that just breathing normally and observing my breath allowed me to relax the most. im just glad that you suggest it as well!

Tx for this video, i tried booth ways of breathe up for couple of years, and i always ask myself why i have better result with your type of breath up, not 1:2 breath up, and today you tell me, tx. Man

Hard to breath like when you are almost falling a sleep when your are using a snorkel and can hear your breathing perfectly. Think most people will over breath using this technique, specially beginners.

We teach how to breath first at class and then at the pool even beginners can control their breathing. But with or without snorkel beginners (and not only) tend to overbreath. And their instructor should correct such mistake

I find it much easyer and relaxing to breath up without a snorkel laying on my back, specially for deeper dives. And for example for 1:2 breathing can Rest your teeth on your lower lip when exhale, creates a no tension recistence to the exhale. Next time im in koh tao i will defintely try out crystal freediving😊
