@@cavader1381 Back before WhatCulture purged the most prominent members of its WWE team, there was a series called Adam vs Adam where Adam Blampied and Adam Pacitti would do things like bet on various PPVs and WWE 2K matches. By around the…I think the 9th episode, the bets escalated into both Adams forming their own "stables", with Pacitti forming Pacitti Club and Blampied forming B-Generation X, also called BX. Both stables would eventually be carried over into WCPW (later called Defiant Wrestling) when the WhatCulture members booked their own indie fed, using themselves as on-screen personalities.

A new idea I thought of for today is A fantasy booking for if CM Punk joined other Wrestling promotions after leaving WWE instead of having that short-lived UFC Career he had. I hope you like the ideas: So on The next night On RAW In Chicago, Illinois After WrestleMania 30, CM Punk comes out to the ring and makes a shocking announcement. During his promo, he reveals to the crowd that He's been suffering from A Staph infection, and it's been getting A Bit worst since his match against Triple H From WrestleMania 30, which shows He'll be taking A Break from Wrestling and he will be leaving WWE. CM Punk delivers an emotional goodbye to WWE, And after he finishes his promo, He exits through his hometown crowd just like In MITB 2011. After His Staph Infection heals, CM Punk decides to Return to Wrestling In 2015 and He decides to Wrestle Around The World. The First Wrestling Promotion He would join is Ring Of Honor where his Wrestling Career really shined. One of the things that CM Punk would do In Ring of Honor is starting A Feud/storyline against A Close friend of his who's known As Colt Cabana. So CM Punk begins Wrestling again In Ring Of Honor, and He would stay with ROH From 2015 to 2017. In 2018, CM Punk decides to sign with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and he would start appearing In NJPW's G1 Climax. CM Punk can Wrestle In NJPW From 2018 to 2019 and He could have the whole Hiroshi Tanahashi thing where he acts as a transitional champion between Kenny Omega and Jay White In NJPW. I think if CM Punk wanted to wrestle again from WWE, NJPW Would be A Better fit for CM Punk's career than UFC Because since he wanted to have that PROFESSIONAL Combat Sports feel, New Japan Pro Wrestling can be A better choice for him. Not a part 2 But what I would consider an ending to the originals and the brand finally becoming its own unique thing Closer to 2008 Sands of time Sandman gets a stretcher job after let’s say a match with Sabu Sandman is said to not have much time left But he doesn’t listen He fights back Paul is concerned for him But he doesn’t have the heart to fire him. He doesn’t feud with new talent he mostly feuds with ECW originals. The point of these types of stories is to have a long run of underdog victories, and you can’t give upset losses to new talent. specifically he faces guys he feuded with He and Tommy Dreamer have a retirement match The culmination of One Final Dream And passing that onto Sandman You then have him in retirement matches with the legends who haven’t left yet. He retires Shane Douglas He retires Mike Awesome He retires Raven who could move into agenting or booking easily. He retires Sabu Specifically this is a ladder match on a ppv where there is a contact extension up for grabs He’s going to sign his contract on tv the next Tuesday He’s pretty happy He feels like he has time. Signs on the contract Last name Fullington And then Enter Sandman plays And he stops The crowd react before the camera finds it Twisted Sand Tyler Fullington The Sandboy Enters He was entering the Indy circuit around august 2008 irl so I think this’ll be a good way to wrap up everything around December to Dismember 2008 Really just clear out the old and have your future. So Tyler enters Daddy, Pause for people to nostalgia pop You’re drunk Now It’s time for you to come home. Not only is this a nostalgia pop But it’s also has a similar impact and meaning When the line was first said the worst thing the sandman could have happen is for his son to worship Raven Now It’s for his son to tell him to retire. Tyler needs his dad to go home before he’s an invalid And he’s willing to be the breadwinner He’s willing to be the wrestler and take the punishment if it means his dad stops. They have a match for the contract extension in the main event of December to Dismember 2008 You know how Vince vs Austin at St. Valentine’s Day massacre had the hype package with splices of a love song I wanna do that here But splice in I’ll be home for Christmas. And I would have Tyler win in a bloody battle that draws a line definitively under the originals and allows for the next generation of ECW to stand on its own.

You had me at "Heatwave 2006" Adam. I stopped watching wrestling in 01 shortly after the invasion storyline concluded. I started watching again in 06 until Paul Haymens dismissal. I was so heartbroken over what vince did to ECW I have yet to watch a WWE product since. Luckily AEW and NJPW helped me fall back in love a couple years ago. What makes it even harder to swallow is NXT is ECWs evolution minus alot of the adult content. Vince always said ECWs appeal could never reach mainstream. WWF Attitude was ECW lite minus the workrate. Then ECW One Night Stand 05 destroys most wwe ppvs in buy rate. Vince is convinced enough to relaunch ECW but not convinced enough to LET IT BE ECW! Where's the logic in that decision!?!?!?

Vince doesn't make logical decisions anymore. I think he legitimately burned himself out after the Attitude Era died and he's too afraid to let go and move on. I've been very on and off with pro wrestling in general since the downfall of TNA which I fell in love with. I feel like there's too much background information i'd have to learn to start watching NJPW and AEW featured a lot of guys I know but don't care enough about to consistently watch (Young Bucks, Omega etc.). I mainly follow the ins and outs of wrestling through channels like this one and WhatCulture. But yeah, WWE is all but dead to me which sucks because they have SO MANY amazing wrestlers. I also love Impact wrestling and they deserve more attention.

Alright, now that I’ve rewatched this multiple times, I should probably give my actual thoughts on the overall booking. I can see ways to get Punk to the title while still making Umaga’s involvement last in the title picture. This booking actually gave me the inspiration to actually carry out your bookings in practice through 2K, and I just might start creating fan-sequels to your bookings, even going as far as to properly stitch together the Austin Heel Turn and Invasion bookings.

Definitely re-book Tazz in 2000 WWF! They flushed him down the roster so fast after his debut that he deserved a lot better! With DDP I always figured we should've gotten the People's Champion of WCW vs the People's Champion of WWF. Imagine full-on superstar main eventer Diamond Dallas Page doing his thing with The Rock.

Funny thing about the comparison to modern NXT to ECW is that before ECW folded Paul Heyman actually knew that the hardcore view was becoming somewhat stale mostly due to the WWE AE and the hardcore division. He actually tried to turn ECW into a more NXT looking wrestling federation but felt that the fans would rebel against it

I absolutely agree with keeping ECW separated from other WWE programming. And I would go even further. After RVD won the WWE Championship, he would be forced to stay on Raw / Smackdown instead of jumping ship to his actual home ECW. He would get his rematch against John Cena on Raw like 2 weeks before actual ECW starts and before that he gives promos on how pissed he is about not being able to go to ECW and about how unfair the world is etc. In that match they go back and forth for a little while, but Cena is unfaced by anything RvD does and out of frustration RvD rolls out of the ring, blatantly grabs a chair and hits Cena with the Vandamminator right in front of the Ref leading to his disqualification. He then goes on to grab a singapore kane and unleach on Cena and only stops when all the security comes out to stop him dragging him out of the arena without the title. Next week it is announced that Cena suffered injuries from the attack and would be out that week and RvD will face the concequences of his behaviour in an in ring segment. During that segment Vince McMahon himself strippes him from the title and suspended for 30 days or as long as Cena takes to heal. RvD again loses his cool and attacks McMahon with a cane but is stopped after one or two hits so no long term damage is done. Vince gets up and yells his signature "YOURRRREEEE FIRED" - RvD is gone from WWE. One week later ECW starts and Paul Heyman is more than happy to have RvD return to his home granting him a spot in the main event match of the first show in which he wins the ECW title against Rhino. After that we continue as you booked it but with the exception that for the first year not a single WWE star appears on ECW unless that star also leaves Raw and Smackdown. And as a sidenote also no ECW star would shift to main WWE for the first year at least and if somebody would later that guy would be gone from ECW. The two brands are entirely separate from each other.

To kind of fantasy book a future with this brand, imagine if NXT still became a thing (since WWE wants to sign everyone and anyone these days), give them two places to go. ECW or NXT. Philly extreme style wrestling or Florida classic storytelling style wrestling. And you can even do brand warfare between ECW and NXT, do drafts between the two to create a Brand Warfare feel to the developmental brands. It could be interesting to see two different styles clash like that, idk. Paul Heyman and Triple H creatively working on like a yearly ECW vs NXT War Games sounds really fun.

The mess WWE made of ECW was extraordinary. Fans clearly wanted the likes of CM Punk at the top and it's not as though the show had to be kept every bit as gory, as long as the no DQ rules are kept intact you can work with a chair shot or table here and there. Regarding Kurt Angle, in all fairness he was heading for a massive implosion at that point anyway, no matter which show he was on.

Actually, Awesome Kong was called Amazing Kong in New Japan. When she came over to the States, there was this legal battle with Marvel b/c of the whole, "Amazing Spiderman and Friends." So, she went from Amazing Kong to Awesome Kong. Good for Adam in standing his ground on that!

An idea/concept I have for videos is, maybe taking a look a certain superstars storylines or career whom nothing negative happened but just seeing how you would’ve done or do them differently. For those watching in 2022 like me. It's really cool to see some of Adam's fantasy booking in this video coming true in AEW. Team Taz has managed to get 3 separate guys over in Hook, Starks and Hobbs respectfully and it's in huge part to having Taz as the figurehead getting them all to that point.
